Go boating, fishing, and snorkeling with ease at this Marathon home, a dog-friendly Florida Keys escape with a 40-foot private dock, a provided kayak, and a lovely bayfront deck with gorgeous views.
This waterfront house sits on an ocean inlet on Knights Key, a location made famous by the TV show "Flipper." You'll be within minutes of the open ocean, two blocks from the east end of the Seven Mile Bridge, five miles from Sombrero Beach, and 11 miles from Bahia Honda State Park.
Step inside the living space to enjoy lofty ceilings, central AC, and large windows that let in the sunlight. Take a rest on the comfortable sofa, use the WiFi to track the tides, and watch football highlights on the flatscreen cable TV.
Prepare breakfast in the kitchen, where you'll find standard appliances, a dishwasher for your convenience, and a small table and counter that seat four people. A gas grill and patio table on the gated deck create the perfect space for sunrise and sunset meals.
Begin each morning by paddling in the provided kayak, or launch your own boat from the 40-foot dock. A bait freezer and a cleaning station are available for anglers, while dogs are welcome to join you for a small nightly pet fee.
With two bedrooms, a loft, and two full bathrooms, this home will sleep a total of six people. You'll find a queen bed in the master bedroom, a set of twin beds in the guest room, and two twin beds in the open loft (which is accessed by a ladder-style staircase). Extra features include a private washer/dryer and abundant parking for boat trailers and trucks.
Ideally located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Knights Key Channel, this home is great for boaters, beach-goers, and anglers. Take nightly walks to the Sunset Grille & Raw Bar, spend an afternoon sailing to Sombrero Reef to admire the tropical fish and nurse sharks, or lounge on the wondrous shores of Bahia Honda State Park.

About Vacasa, FL - Florida Keys Office
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers. Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team. Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Clean and family friendly.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Next year we plan on coming back to the same place!!!
This property was fabulous. Plenty of room, clean, modern and comfortable. Close to good restaurants. and a great boat ramp is near by.
Beautiful house with great wrap around deck!
Enjoyed our stay with some friends and their two kids. We all enjoyed the view, the kids especially loved the loft. This house had everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing time. The kitchen is completely stocked with service for about 8, plenty of pots, pans and skillets, blender, dishwasher, all kinds of gadgets! It's nice that the washer and dryer are downstairs in its own closeted space and there's a separate storage room downstairs that has a second full size fridge (perfect for bait or extra drinks) and fishing pole holders! There's a great lighted fish cleaning station on the back deck, that is all fenced in if you bring dogs. The master has a firm king, the second room has a soft queen and there were four twins in the open loft. Plenty of dressers and desks and closets for storage. The master bath has a tub/shower combo, the guest bath has a tiny shower. Unfortunately neither of these bathrooms have AC vents, though there is a window in the master one. Lots of seating and tables outside on the deck and on ground level. There's a great view of the RV campground across the bay, which has a boatramp where we paid $10 to put in our boat. We all had great fun watching the various things going on at the boat ramp, manatee, tarpon, iguanas and fish in the bay. Would definitely recommend this great house!
Beautiful home with wrap around deck and great water views!
What a wonderful 8 day stay in this great home! Master has a king (very firm, bouncy), 2nd BR has queen (soft) and the open loft has 4 twins. Ensuite in the master that has a tub/shower combo, 2nd BA has a tiny shower. Great water pressure. Unfortunately no AC vents in the baths. Plenty of extra towels. Washer & Dryer downstairs, separate storage under the deck that has a 2nd full size refrigerator perfect for bait and extra drinks, fishing pole holders and extra counter space. Love that there is so much seating outside on ground level under the deck (for shade and there's a couch, chairs and loungers) and in front of the dock and lots more seating upstairs on the deck. Plenty of outdoor tables, too! There's also a great fish cleaning station that's all lit up at night! Plenty of cookware and kitchen items like colanders, pitchers, gadgets and enough flatware and dishes to serve 20! Would definitely stay here again. Vacasa, the property management is easy to work with. We arrived to the island early and management was able to let us in with a friendly phone call. Super thankful! Great emails, sufficient communication. The local property manager, Bob, stopped in to check on us. The Home Guide was emailed me which included all the specifics about trash pick ups, recycling and other important info. Thank you Vacasa for a wonderful stay! Keep up the good work!
We'll be back --
Found this to be exactly what we were looking for. It is fantastic for two people, but might get a little crowded for more if you stay inside a lot and watch TV but the patio area was great for more people that iike to sit outside and party. Very clean, fully stocked with all you might need and just a great location to get out and find your fishing spots. The view in the future might not be the best because we heard they are putting in a big motel across the lagoon so that will not be a view to enjoy but I guess that's what they call progress. But with everything else being so terrific, we are already planning our next vacation here.
