Enjoy watching the surfers and Dolphins playing in the waves. Stunning sunsets and the ocean breeze envelop the home. Fully furnished, equipped beach getaway. Well-appointed modern kitchen. Pelicans cruise by all day outside the windows. 90 second access to Stone Steps Beach. While the tide is out, walk for miles on the gold shimmering sand, find seashells and go to cafes’ along the highway north and south. Let the sounds of the ocean waves lull you to sleep. An experience you'll cherish.

The charming two bedroom with one bath (845 SF), features a patio deck area and a downstairs private courtyard area. You can store your surf boards and beach toys in a secure gated private area.

The home has One Queen Bed, One Full Bed with One Queen Sofa Bed and One Full Roll-Out Bed. The kitchen is fully equipped for pretty much anything you will want to grill up. Filtered watering system is throughout the house. The kitchen looks into the living room and has ocean view.

The living space is comfortable. Many windows to enjoy the view. There is a fireplace, sofa, chairs, sound speaker for music and a flat screen TV with Netflix.

Relax on the patio deck watching the surfers and sunset.

We know you must be ready to relax and start your vacation, and we want you to make yourself at home right away and have an enjoyable time.

You will find a binder with helpful information about the home and parking. You have one designated parking space in front of the driveway. Please see the photo on how to park your vehicle.

We have a guestbook on the living room coffee table. We encourage you to leave your own entries and enjoyable activities for future renters to enjoy. Simple house rules, we all have them.

Indoor and outdoor areas are NON SMOKING. Use CAUTION when going in and out of the home. Tile, concrete and wood surfaces, including stairs, floors and the patio area, can be very slippery when wet. Please take extra care after swimming or when it is raining. The home owners are not responsible for injuries.

PETS are welcome. Please try to keep them off of the furniture. There is a small grass area to accommodate pets.

WATER: The quality of the water we drink matters. This home has filtered water throughout. Enjoy the Purest-Exceptional Great-Tasting Water. You will notice a difference on your skin from the shower.

The COLD and HOT water knobs are opposite in the shower. To obtain hot water, use the knob to the right. To obtain cold water, use the knob to the left.

We have instant HOT WATER ON DEMAND. This will give you the fastest hot shower and you won’t run out of hot water!

TOILET- We have installed a toilet that is an ergonomically low water usage flush toilet. Press and hold the handle down for (3) three seconds to get a full flush.

Kitchen Counter: We have a fully stocked kitchen to make meals or to enjoy a glass of wine. There are purse hooks under the counter.

FIREPLACE- It is a gas fireplace. There is a wall switch on the left side of the fireplace to turn on/off. Do not put anything combustibles into the fireplace. The fireplace must only be used when guests are in the rental.

WALL HEATER: In the kitchen area. Two portable mini heaters are located within the hall closet for additional heat.

GARBAGE AND RECYLING- Blue Bins are for Recycling: Cans, paper, aluminum, glass and plastic. Recycle all rigid plastics, such as bottles, jugs and jars marked to and all beverage containers labeled "CA Redemption Value".

PICKUP- Trash and recycling are picked up on Monday mornings and must be placed on the street Sunday evenings.

GATE: Please keep the security gate closed during the evening. We have installed motion sensor lights, if you come home late.

LOWER PATIO AREA: There is an outside shower and hooks to hang your wetsuits and beach towels. The sheds contain beach toys to use and wagons.

Electric BBQ Grill, to make scrumptious meals. Must be attended when in use. Please put away in shed when done.

There is a small grass area to accommodate pets.

UPPER DECK AREA: There are tables, chairs and a trash can on the upper the deck area. No climbing, sitting, standing or jumping off the deck nor on the roof.

We have gone green. All electricity is solar on the home.

Last but not least…. You can rent an Electric Street Legal Golf Cart. Sight see along the coast in this fun electrical car. Forget about hauling baskets or toys to the beach. Parking is a breeze at restaurants and shopping. The open, eye-catching cart will draw a curious crowd wherever you go. Top speed of 25 mph ~ roaming range of 30 miles. It seats 4 and has a load capacity of 800 pounds. Quiet – engaging in a “green” way, it does not emit exhaust fumes. Plug the extension cord into a standard outlet for 6 hours to get a full charge. 100% street legal. Qualifies to be on roads posted up to 35 mph. 1. Stone’s Beach: 90 seconds walk south to Stone Steps. You can walk north or south on the beach for miles. Fishing, Dolphins, Whales, Sea Lions and other aquatic life are often seen. Best time to get seashells is early morning. 2. Moonlight Beach: Access at Stone Stops to walk, 11 minute walk. Fun family beach with Volleyball, bon fire pits, picnic tables, playground for kids, and lots of activity. Snack Bar, outside showers and restrooms. Great view, perfect location, great price relative to other nearby rentals

The rate was great relative to other rentals. The property manager/owner was really nice, and mostly responsive to our requests. The location simply can't be beat, especially if you like to hang out at Stonesteps. Some minor complaints, mostly functional issues (lighting/electrical/fans/etc.). I'd probably give 5 stars otherwise.

Beautiful view, lovely Condo

We loved our stay at this condo with a gorgeous view. Enjoyed watching surfers in the morning and the evening sunset over the water. Brooke has thought of everything anyone would need or want in a rental by the beach. Our dogs were welcome and we enjoyed walking them along the cute streets everyday. We all had a wonderful time and will definitely come back!

Perfect for our family of 5, gorgeous view. Very easy walk to the beach. Great to have boogie boards and beach towels. Well stocked. Would definitely come back here.

Great place with amazing view!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Brooke's super clean place right on the ocean. Everything was in perfect order, and when we discovered a small plumbing issue, Jeff was there and had it fixed within 30 minutes. The space was just right for the three of us. Encinitas is great -- walking distance to most everything. Definitely recommend!

Best view!!!

Everything was perfect! Stayed here for five nights with two of my friends and nobody had any complaints. The view is spectacular!! Would definitely stay here again!

Cozy oceanside retreat

We had a wonderful vacation in Brooke's gorgeous oceanside home. Baskets of super soft blankets, snacks, and extremely comfortable beds and pillows were just a few of the touches that she added to make this a comfortable stay for our family. Loved watching the ocean from the living room window and also got to see migrating whales right in front of us! Great place to stay!

PROPERTY DAMAGE PROTECTION: $59 for insurance will be paid for potential damage. If damage occurs, please let the Manager know and it will be addressed through the insurance company with no hassle to the Guest. If damage exceeds $1,500.00, a cost break down of what damages were done and how your damage protection plan was used. Any overage of the protection plan will be billed on your credit card for the remainder of the cost. A report will be sent to the Guest.
CANCELLATIONS –
Bookings cancelled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a refund of all but $200.00 and the $59.00 Damage Deposit.
Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 30 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full payment. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant refund of rent. No refunds will be given for storms.
