great roomy property
In town for Ironman week. Awesome property with plenty of room for 4 couples all racing and the gear that goes with it!! Location is very convenient to both sides of the river with plenty of on street parking. Thanks Liz & Web!!
Super spacious and very convenient to lots of fun things!
Plenty of space and seating for a large group! Comfortable beds, great linens, great time in Chattanooga.
Thank you for the great review! Glad you all enjoyed the place and hope to have you back soon.
Comfortable, Plenty of Space, and Close to Activities
The house was comfortable with plenty of space for three generations, including teenagers. The pool was a welcome place to relax, cool off, and enjoy "down time". And though not easily walkable (those are some steep hills), it is close to sights, activities and great restaurants in the area. One suggestion is to consider higher wattage lighting in the dining and living room--it was a little difficult for older adults. Otherwise, the house was a great part of our visit to Chattanooga.
Great location, nice owners
We stayed at this location for a vacation to visit family in Chattanooga. The is house beautiful inside and out. The location was perfect as it was close to shopping, Coolidge Park, the aquarium, and the neighborhood was very inviting. The house is definitely bigger than it appeared from the road. We loved that the house had a private pool, and many bedrooms and bathrooms. It was nice to have the access to Netflix for my 2 year old, and any problems we had while staying, where resolved quickly by the owner, which was much appreciated.
While we were there it rained several days in a row which is more than normal, and the outdoor carpet on the back steps became very slick, so be sure to be cautious of that if it’s wet. Overall we would recommend this home to others and would look back into renting when we return next.
Way bigger than it looks!
Our family reunion was in Chattanooga this year. 9 members of our family stayed comfortably here and really enjoyed the pool! I would recommend stocking a larger frying pan in the kitchen and more towels in the bathrooms, especially when hosting large groups such as ours.
Great location! Close to downtown activities!
We are a family with adult children, their spouses and grandchildren. And we chose to all meet in Chattanooga. This was our first visit to Chattanooga and we had a long list of things we wanted to do. The house was definitely close to the downtown area where a lot of activities are. We visited the aquarium, the riverboat, Coolidge Park, ate at a lot of neat highly recommended restaurants, a ballgame and even visited Rock City. The house had 4 bedrooms which we needed and even a couple of bonus beds that we did not use. We had room to spread out when needed and loved having the pool. Our granddaughters loved swimming after a hot day of sightseeing.
There were a lot of reasons to give this house 5 stars but to be fair to future guests I have to give it 4&1/2 stars. I think with just a little more work this property can be there. The stairs in this house are extremely steep. We have young grandchildren and a security gate is greatly needed. There was one in the house but it was broken. Also, several of the walls appear to have had decorations removed as there were several remaining holes in need of repair. The kitchen could use a few more small glasses and a pitcher for lemonade or tea. Overall this was a great place for our family and definitely want to return.
