This is a great Location South Myrtle beach, it just has everything you want and need.The Condo is highly saute after from our clients year after year. Small Dog pet friendly. 30 lbs and under, Sorry no cats. Great Location, clean beach,good food,many indoor pools and outdoor pools and hot tubs, a very Cool lazy river and the Resort just spent a lot of money re tiling all the pools and walk ways In 2016. Our prices are below the norm on the beach and we run and clean our Condos ourselves.VERY CLEAN and hopefully they make you feel like your at home to you. So the overall experience is great. ( Great family Experience)
What makes this Condo unique
There are a ton of amenities in the Resort. You don't have to drive anywhere, but to get Groceries 1/2 mile away. We have a Food Lion market & Walmart grocery Or take a short walk there. If you need Alcoholic Beverages you go to a RED DOT store. On the premises we have. Star Bucks Coffee shop and snacks. gift shop Work out room game room 17 pools and hot tubs. 2 lazy rivers for adults and kids. indoor and outdoor. computer work area 2 full serve restaurants and Tiki bar by pool Real estate services and Investments. Great owner and condo.
The condo was great. Plenty of room for my family of four and little dog. Great view of the ocean and the fully equipped kitchen is perfect.
As for the Landmark Resort, your stay will be either boom or bust, depending on the other guests in the resort. On the property, we had a few good nights, but there were some bad nights to. At the pool a lady changed her baby’s diaper, then for some reason threw it, and the poopy diaper got into the hot tub which closed that down for the day. Another time on the elevator, this girl was yelling and screaming, not caring that the elevator was full, claiming she has a sugar daddy and that she will be all fine as long as her food stamps come in on time. At the pool, people kept complaining, and rightfully so, as this ten year old was playing rap music on his boom box, that had lyrics about “f ing bitches”, sluts, f this f that”. The parents not realizing why this was offensive made it worse.
Also the elevators are horrible. Faster to take the stairs. One was out of order for a full week and another wouldn’t even open and we had to forcefully open it as we got to the floor. It was eventually fixed, but I have never experienced such a horrible elevator situation on any trip I have taken and we’re talking ten trips a year for work over the course of the last 25 years.
As for the Landmark staff, all were super friendly. Never a bad interaction, they were very enjoyable to talk to. However, front desk staff was not so helpfull during one major incident. On April 1st at 1am, The Swat team, plus a hundred officers, five police dogs stormed the property looking for someone. I went to the front desk, explained that I have kids, 15 and 12 years old, that don’t want to go to the game room with their parents, so I asked what the hell happened, being I don’t want to let the walk the hotel property alone anymore after seeing all the commotion. They wouldn’t tell me anything, with one clerk pretending not to even have known. When Swat team with machine guns, hundreds of cops and dogs storm the building, guests should know what happened.
Now this isn’t any reflection on the owners of the condo. My rating is based on the condo and the owners, not the resort itself. Their property was clean and perfect for our trip. With different hotel guests, things could have been perfect, so as I said, your stay at the Landmark will be boom or bust, depending on the other class of guests staying on property.
Overall good property
Nice property overall. Could have used a dishwasher. Sorry that we seemed to have picked Biker Week. Did not enjoy that.

We stayed 12 days! Enjoyed the amenities and the great customer service.
It was a pleasure staying in this "pet friendly" condo. The 5th floor is a perfect combination of easy access to the elevators and 1 floor from the enclosed overpass to the parking garage. The ocean view is very nice! Loved the mattress on the Murphy bed. Loved the "at home" feeling the condo gave us. We have never stayed at a resort with so many great hot tubs, lazy rivers and pools! It was fun for all ages!! Bruce was great to work with and we could tell he cares that his customers have a good vacation!

We enjoyed our stay
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this property. The owner was quick to answer any questions we had and stayed in touch to make sure we found our way. The condo was well equipped and had 2 tvs.
Best room ever!
We loved the room and everything was very convenient. The hotel itself had many amenities that we used many times. Loads of pools, hot tubes and entertainment night and day. We hope to stay there again soon. The owner was very gracious and even helped us with other interests. We love Myrtle Beach and look forward to coming back in the future.
Pros: great resort, great location, full kitchen, updated unit (other than the bedroom), owners were awesome to work with
Cons: unit was not cleaned well when we arrived, bedroom needs carpet removed and bed replaced
Overall, we had an awesome week staying at this condo. Bruce was great to work with and stayed in communication with us as needed. The resort is awesome and the workers are some of the friendliest people. The restaurants in the resort are pretty good and great for convenience because we didn't want to drive much while we were there. The pools are beautiful and the entertainment/dj at the pool was great. The security at the hotel was wonderful and maintained a safe and family friendly atmosphere the entire week. They didn't tolerate any misbehavior but were also pretty laid back about allowing guests to have small coolers at the pool.
The condo was pretty good and almost perfect. The biggest issue is the bedroom smells very musty and feels sticky. I think the carpet needs replaced. The rest of the unit feels very fresh and clean, but the bedroom was not great. I have pretty bad allergies and had to take benadryl all week because of the bedroom. I will say, Bruce did everything he could to accomodate and went as far as allowing us to get a de-humidifier to leave in the room for future guests and he agreed to refund us. He was great to work with and wanted us to enjoy our stay. When we arrived late Sunday evening, the unit was ok but not cleaned well. I spent about 45 minutes cleaning the bathroom, doing dishes that were poorly cleaned, and sweeping/mopping which was my personal choice; but I just didn't feel like the unit met my expectations in terms of cleanliness. I did not call Bruce about it so it was completely my choice to clean it. We were just ready to get settled in so we cleaned it ourselves. I will say, I am a bit of a "clean freak" and I have high standards for cleaning. I assume there is a contracted cleaning company and it's their fault, not the owners of the unit.
I am so grateful this unit allows small dogs. I take my dog on all of our trips so dog-friendly is a must for us.
If the carpet and bed is replaced in the bedroom by next Summer, this unit will be my regular rental each summer we visit Myrtle Beach. That was the only major issue we had with this unit. I'm really hoping the bedroom updates are made soon because we absolutely loved everything else about our stay!
Additional information about rental rates
No smoking or evidence of a cat or dog when not authorized, will result in losing your security deposit 100 %. When leaving all dishes must be washed and put away correctly. All bedding, towels must be put into dirty laundry basket in room and we will pick them up. Condo must be lite broom swept and all garbage removed to resorts main trash area`s or you lose your security deposit.
