This duplex was built by Chris Rye of Rye Construction. Chris was the building contractor for Frank Lloyd Wright during the time Wright designed many Mason City homes as well as the only functioning Frank Lloyd Wright hotel. The Historic Park Inn. Also the Stockman House designed by Wright and built by Rye. The location is fantastic! Short walk to both the hotel and museum as well as the thriving downtown area filled with great restaurants, brew pubs and events. East Park- beautiful park for walking or biking- also host to the annual Up In Smoke BBQ competition, civil war re-enactment and the North Iowa Band Festival. The city will be constructing a new walking/bike trail next to the home. Mason City is just 7 miles from the #1 ranked lake in Iowa- Clear Lake. The home is nicely updated with 2 spacious bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, large living room and quaint dining room. Front porch for relaxing with a bluff view of Willow Creek. Washer and dryer, Wi-Fi and dish cable included-TVs in the living room and master bedroom.
This is our third year so we’ve taken all suggestions. Yes! You’ll have a Weber grill, fire pit, grill equipment, anything you might want and some stuff you didn’t know you wanted in the kitchen. An Aero bed for extra guests and off street parking for 3 vehicles.
