Great location, great home
The location of this home is great. It's a quiet street, nicely secluded backyard and in less than 15 minutes we were able to walk to the beach. We were very close to multiple restaurants and convenience stores as well. The home itself was very spacious and comfortable. Perfect for our family and 2 dogs to really enjoy it all. I highly recommend this rental for anyone who wants a relaxing time yet close enough for entertainment.
An awesome Cape Cod vacation home!
This beautiful home made our vacation so enjoyable! We loved the private back yard enclosed garden with flowers, plants and cozy patio. This home has everything you need. Very clean, bright, all of the rooms are lovely! Perfect location, many restaurants, small markets and coffee in walking distance. Close to beaches. We had a hard time leaving this awesome Cape home!
Quiet, private, perfect location
Because of the location we plan on booking for next summer. The house is clean, airy, comfortable. The patio and yard are extremely quiet, shaded and very private. The pugs had a great time hanging outside, the fence kept our escape artist from even trying to get out. No worries at all. The street is very quiet as it is not a thru way, so you have none of the traffic cutting through from 28 to Lower County Road. You can walk through to the beach, store, popular hot dog stand, ice cream etc. For the adults the Sand Dollar Bar is a short walk around the corner. Very safe for young ones to play out front without fear. The outdoor shower was wonderful for after the beach, the guys used it every day regardless-kept the sand and wet from inside. Location is perfect to 28 and 134 where they cross, easy to Hyannis or Chatham. We used 134 quite a bit to go to the bay side of Dennis. Mayflower Beach is a must, get there by 8:30 is as gets crowded and the lot fills fast. (Snack bar and bathrooms) Right down the street from the house at the end of Shad Hole Road is a lovely beach with benches up on the cliff to sit and just "look." There is a little café and bathrooms also. Everything you could need is in a one mile radius. Having one bathroom never became and issue at all as we like to spend more time outside than worrying about how many toilets there are. Reminder: there is no washer/dryer. Again not a issue as we rinsed out and lined dried as needed brought a laundry bag for the rest. There is a laundry mat down the road. Highly recommended-Enjoy your vacation-relax!
Roomy and clean. Close to everything!
Thanks for the review! So glad you enjoyed your stay.
Loved staying here! It fit my family of 6 and our dog perfectly. The fenced in yard was fantastic as we could let our dog roam the back yard freely and safely. The house was clean, had everything we needed. Didn't have a washer dryer which would have been a bonus if it did.
The owners are very nice! The fridge ended up not working very well and within 24 hours they had replaced it with a brand new one. I definitely would recommend this rental to anyone. We look forward to staying here again for our future Cape trips.
Thanks for your review!!! You are welcome back anytime!!!
Clean and comfortable
Loved the layout of the house, plenty of seating and cute backyard. Our puppy loved exploring the fenced in yard and chasing the birds. Loved the convienant walk to ice cream, restaurants and markets.
Dennis, a Mid-Cape town, is the ideal starting point for exploring the Cape in any direction and has public beach access on both Cape Cod Bay and Nantucket Sound as well as two public golf courses.
