Guestbook comments from the owner

Hi Deb,

We had such a great time last week. The house is beautiful and the location is perfect! I'm a carpenter, so it was a great place to stay just to appreciate the craft. We had a beautiful week of weather, and got in lots of time hiking, playing in the river and of course at Attitash and Story Land. Our girls gave the soaking tub a work out with daily bubble baths.

Thank you for opening up your home to us, I'm sure we'll be back!

Regards,

Matt

Great property, excellent location!

Loved the house, so much room! Loved the high ceilings and wood beams thruout. My daughter wanted to move here! Close to all attractions. Mountain views are breathtaking - my wife was relaxing viewing the mountainside every day. Would like to come next year!

Great location, beautiful mountain views, spacious home

  • 5 of 5

We had a great summer weekend up in NH and couldn't have asked for a better home base. We enjoyed all of our meals with beautiful mountain views from the screened in porch. We shared the house with friends and there was plenty of room - we loved the open layout. The location was perfect for Storyland, Echo Lake/Cathdral Ledge and Crawford Notch. We were able to easily visit the Cider Mill multiple times for donuts and sandwiches. We will definitely be back!

Great house in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

This was our 4th year in a row renting this house. It's is a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. My kids, wife and I love the proximity to great hiking and river activities. The owner has been great and the place is very clean. The open kitchen and great room are perfect for hanging out after a day of outdoor fun, and the screen porch is just fantastic early in the morning and for a cool breeze on a hot night. Off course the giant tub is a favorite for the kids and bubble baths. We'll be back for sure.

A Perfect VRBO for a NH White Mountain Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

Our family spent Christmas school vacation week in this beautiful post & beam home (excellent craftsmanship). We had an absolutely-wonderfully blessed time, whether we were playing games, reading or just relaxing and enjoying the awesome mountain views! This was our first time using VRBO, but Deb, even though we hadn't met, took away any apprehension we had through good correspondence. We would highly recommend anyone considering a NH White Mountain getaway to choose this home! It's beautiful, clean, comfortable, well equipped (even without WIFI - which actually we, including our 2 teens, considered a plus!), the views are amazing, and the location is perfect (secluded/private yet so close to ski mountains and quaint villages/towns and attractions)!!! Thanks Deb & Jim! :)

Lovely House!

  • 5 of 5

We took our 2 daughters and their grandparents for a long "getaway weekend", and had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. The house provided everything we needed, was very clean, well-maintained, comfortable, and wow what views! We were able to relax, unwind and spend some great quality family time.

Deb was very easy to work with, and I would definitely recommend this house.

A very special place!

  • 5 of 5

Our family has spent its annual ski vacation at this beautiful home for the past seven years. Many wonderful memories were made here. On our last visit, one of my daughters said "Mom, can't we just buy it!" The ad does not lie, the mountain views are incredible. Gazing out the windows in the morning, over coffee, inspires a sense of awe and peace. The house, high on a hill top, is surrounded by natural beauty. The first year we vacationed there, we saw a moose outside the bedroom window (it stayed there for over 30 minutes). The house itself is spacious. The living area on the main floor is the perfect place for family meals and socializing. There is also plenty of space for people to enjoy alone time. The house is clean and uncluttered, very easy to live in for a week. The owners have been great. All transactions have been smooth and efficient. I highly recommend this fabulous home. But of course, I will be jealous when you're there and I am not:((
