Relaxation at its finest!

  • 5 of 5

My family loved everything about this cabin. It was huge for my little 3 person family so I know a large family would have tons of space for everyone.

I love cooking on vacation and we had everything we needed plus the added bonus of spices in the drawer so I was able to make a few extra recipes on the spur of the moment.

My husband had to pry me out of the sunroom when it was time to go home. I just sat there every day reading with my daughter and in the mornings spent time on the front porch with my pancakes and strawberries.

The best part of all was the mountain breezes in the evening and the crickets singing. I felt like I was 8 years old all over again visiting my Nana on her farm.

Thank you so much for keeping such a cozy home. As I teacher, I give you a A+!

This place is a 10 for the quality of the cabin, the place and the hospitality of the owner, Juerguen.

He had taken care of every detail to make the stay perfect.

In a remote place, is the right place to recover from the busy days of the city.

Thank you, Juerguen.

Blissful Peace on the Blue Ridge Skyline!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I just spent 10 days at Bee&Bee. We haven't had such a relaxing, peaceful vacation in years! We enjoyed daytime hikes, an abundance of wildlife, gorgeous starry nights on the deck and cool, quiet, dark evenings perfect for sleeping! We took several excursions to local wineries, caverns, historical sites and other attractions in the Shenandoah Valley. The cabin was clean and welcoming with a full kitchen, linens,, washer and dryer are all provided. AC and a wood stove too! It is on a mountain ridge a few miles hike from the Appalachian trail and Skyline Drive....about a 15 minute drive up the mountain from town along a winding gravel road. Wonderfully remote but, at the same time, within a community. The cabin is warm and welcoming. The owners live in the community and are extremely hospitable and available to immediately address any of your needs, but totally respect your privacy. It's as if it is your very own little mountain retreat! We will definitely return!!!

Note: For anyone with mobility issues, the only entrance to the cabin, at this time, is from the elevated deck.

Beautiful, peaceful

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed your home. The kids loved the loft. The sunroom is beautiful. The bread was delicious. Very comfortable stay. The only thing I would have liked to have known ahead of time is the steep windy gravel road leading into the development.

Owner's Response: The listing clearly reads "ACCESS: Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. Gravel drives are well maintained..." You are being a little disingenuous giving us a 4 out of 5 due to something we fully disclosed. The Bee & Bee Mountain Retreat might be the highest altitude rental cabin in Page county but with that comes driving up a mountain :) But I am not surprise that Ruth gave us 4 stars due to the fact she changed her reservation multiple times and asked many questions that were clear answered in our FAQ site. I am happy you enjoyed your stay and wished we could have made you feel like it was a 5 star vacation. Peace
