About the property

Year-round mountain fun is everywhere when you vacation at Antler Crossing on the beautiful west side of Ruidoso, New Mexico. From relaxing in the hot tub after a day of skiing or hiking to gathering around your wood-burning fireplace to relive your day’s memories, Antler Crossing delivers the perfect mountain vacation. Best of all, even your pets are welcome in this lovely alpine home.

From the moment you drive up to Antler Crossing, you’ll know you’ve chosen your vacation destination wisely. The first thing you’ll see is the hot tub, which is a wonderful way to relax while gazing out at the forest. On your way inside, you’ll pass through the nature room, a space with lots of windows and a chair for personal meditation or reading. When you cross the threshold into the living room/dining room combination, you’ll fall in love with the alpine décor, stone fireplace, and cozy comfort of your vacation residence. Your living room is outfitted with a comfortable couch and wonderful recliner where you can watch the fire or tune into a favorite TV program on your flat-screen TV with cable and a DVD player. You’ll also find flat-screen TVs and DVD players in both bedrooms for your nighttime enjoyment.

In case anyone in your group plays the piano, there’s a beautiful Wurlitzer piano in the living room and you also have free Wi-Fi within Antler Crossing. You’ll be taking lots of photos and now you’ll have a way to send them back home to friends and family.

Beyond your main living area are sliding glass doors that lead out onto your deck where you’ll find a large gas grill and small table and chairs where you can enjoy a cocktail while breathing in the crisp mountain air. There’s also a bar with two chairs where additional guests can join you.

You can cook up some steaks on the gas grill or put the fully equipped Antler Crossing kitchen to good use. You have everything you need to prepare tasty dishes for your group. Just stop by the nearby grocery to pick up ingredients. Your kitchen also has a breakfast bar that is a good place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee and plan your day of fun on the slopes, the hiking trails, or seeing the sights in Ruidoso.

Serving dinner is a snap with the dining table just steps from the kitchen. Your group will love dining in this room with large windows giving them a lovely alpine view through plantation shutters. This table is also a great place to gather your group for a game or to plan your next day’s activities.

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our long weekend in Ruidoso and the house was perfect for us and our best friends. All the beautiful deer, turkey and elk was a special bonus!

I hope we can come back again!

House was perfect; downstairs bed was not

  • 4 of 5

We loved the house and the atmosphere, but the bed on the first floor is extremely hard. We loved how the deer came right up to us though. It was a great place, just needs a softer mattress on the bottom floor.

Perfect family getaway

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 5 loved our stay. The kids were most excited about hand feeding the deer everyday and couldn’t believe we saw elk every morning. Great location, quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Peace

  • 5 of 5

Just walking around the neighborhood in the cool weather was a treat. An 8 point buck met us at the bottom of the steps, and woodpeckers, hummingbirds, and blue jays chirped at us. We even saw a big black bear as we were leaving the last day! Nearby Grindstone Lake and the Ruidosa River Trail are just a few minutes away and well worth going to. Just sitting on the decks grilling or chilling is wonderful!
