If you come in winter, we encourage you to arrive in a four-wheel-drive vehicle or at a minimum have chains for your car. Despite the best efforts, mountain roads are often icy and snow-packed in winter.
When you walk in your front door, you’ll be pleased to discover a cabin that is entirely on one floor. Once you get inside, there are no stairs to climb to reach bedrooms. There is also air-conditioning that keeps the cabin the perfect temperature on warm summer afternoons. Vaulted ceilings, large windows, and a stone fireplace with gas greet you when you enter. You’ll really get that woodsy feeling from the pine walls and décor items. You have a large comfortable couch and armchairs perfectly situated to watch the flat-screen TV with cable and a DVD player. After a day of skiing or hiking, it’s fun to settle in with a bowl of popcorn and a good movie. For you enjoyment, you’ll find a total of five TVs and two DVD players within Chestnut Lodge. You also have free Internet so you can share photos with friends of yourself playing on the slopes, hiking, and golfing.
One of the things you’ll love most about Chestnut Lodge is your large deck out back. In addition to the wonderful pine-scented air and towering trees, you have a hot tub where you can relax and soothe tired muscles. After a day of skiing or golfing, the warm, soothing water feels great on your body. You also have a table and chairs out on the deck, the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee, afternoon cocktails, or a dinner al fresco in the great outdoors.
The main living area at Chestnut Lodge has an open-concept plan, which makes it easy to keep everyone connected and conversations flowing. Your kitchen is well equipped with what you need to prepare and serve your group. You’ll enjoy cooking your favorite recipes in this large kitchen. You also have a gas grill out back at Chestnut Lodge so you can grill up some burgers, steaks, or chicken.
You can serve your guests around the nearby dining room table or out on the deck. If additional place settings are needed, you can set up three more guests at the breakfast bar.

Your master bedroom includes a king-sized bed, nightstands with reading lamps, a TV with DVD player, and numerous windows that let in lots of mountain sunshine and a view of the woods. The master bedroom has its own private bathroom with a walk-in shower and vanity with lots of thirsty towels and washcloths.
The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed with wall-mounted flat-screen, and nightstands with reading lamps. Chances are, when your guests’ heads hit the pillow, they will immediately fall asleep no matter how engaging their TV program or book.
The second Chestnut Lodge bathroom also has a walk-in shower. Guests appreciate the convenience of having multiple bathrooms within the cabin. It makes mornings go so much more smoothly as everyone prepares for a day of mountain fun.
Your third bedroom has a double bed, wall-mounted TV, dresser, and nightstands. As the ceiling fan gently stirs overhead, guests will quickly slip off to dreamland.
Your fourth bedroom includes two more double beds. Views of the woods pour through the windows and a ceiling fan stirs the air beckoning guests off to a good night’s rest.
The third bathroom within Chestnut Lodge includes a shower/tub combination that’s great for bathing any young children who may be part of your vacation party. You also have a washer and dryer within Chestnut Lodge so you can keep everyone in clean clothes throughout your stay.
