Most beautiful home and amazing view!
We had a fantastic time hiking to Max Patch, on the Appalachian Trail, and sitting in the Hot Springs hot tubs. The view is stunning and the home has so many thoughtful touches that it feels like you are staying with a friend not in a rental! We had car trouble and Tammy's son helped us out right away- thank you! We hope to come back someday.
Perfect secluded home away from home with an amazing Mountain View.
The cabin was beautifully decorated, the kitchen fully stocked. The fireplaces made for a cozy snowy day. The fire pit was perfectly placed to watch the sunset and star gaze at night. We were a few miles away from Max Patch (amazing sunrise!) it was a good ride to the nearest town, but if seclusion and privacy is what you want, this cabin is perfect! The owner was extremely nice. She helped with directions when we got a little lost and gave us suggestions on things to do and places to eat.
Beautiful home with fabulous view.It is definitely secluded and 40 minutes from Hot Springs.
We enjoyed the seclusion and view but went to Hot Springs every day.We hiked both Lovers Leap and Max Patch on the Appalachian Trail.
Very well stocked with furnishings and supplies. Owners were very accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Our city car was not the best choice for this remote destination, however.
Beautiful House, Beautiful View, Remote Location
The house is beautiful will all the amenities including DirecTV and Wi-fi. It has a fully stocked kitchen, as well as comfortable furniture and beds. It is very remote with a fantastic view. This house it situated at the top of the mountain so be prepared for the 10 mile gravel road drive. The closest grocery store is a good 40 minutes from the house so be sure to stock up on food and gas before you head up the mountain. We loved the remoteness of the house and would definitely stay again.
Wonderful cabin in beautiful nature
Best stocked kitchen in America and the most beautiful view from the sunroom! Beds are comfy and house is INCREDIBLY clean - we just loved it! Thanks Tammy
Hike to Max patch, swim at the bottom of a waterfall called Rattlesnake Gap (a local favorite), fish in the local stocked pond or venture off the mountain for a gourmet meal at the Sweet Onion in downtown Waynesville, or enjoy all that Asheville has to offer. There are plenty of golf courses for the golf enthusiasts. Other attractions include Sliding Rock, Harrah Casino, Dollywood and Gatlinburg.
