Ipswich offers more than the undeveloped 5 mile white sand beach of Crane Beach. There is a vibrant downtown with restaurants, bars , antique stores, art galleries, a micro brewery and even an Afghani coffee shop. There are more original first period homes in Ipswich than in any town or city in America. We have farms and preserved open space, clams, a lovely river that flows through a state forest into downtown and through the salt marsh into the sea. There is the commuter rail station downtown that provides direct access to Boston in 50 minutes.
