Like many I grew tired of the northern winters. Aiken is a charming community. It offers year round riding competitions as well as local golf courses
Colleen purchased this Cottage in 2016

Home Away from Home
My husband and I recently spent a week in this sweet cottage visiting one of our favorite towns and thoroughly enjoyed it! The grounds were beautiful and the cottage was awesome! Don't know if this was just built or recently remolded, but it felt like brand new! Clean, bright and accommodating. Lots of closet space so you didn't have to look at suitcases, a complete kitchen, spacious bathroom and a comfy bed resulted in a great nights sleep.
Though we didn't get a chance to meet Coleen, she was always available to communicate with. Check-in and access was super easy. We travel with 2 small dogs and it is so much easier when they have space to hang out and a yard to play in. This little gem is in a quiet neighborhood conveniently located close to both historic downtown in one direction and all the grocery stores and corporate shops and restaurants in the other. Would defiantly recommend a stay here. Thank you Coleen.
Thank you for your kind words. I look forward to meeting you during your next trip to aiken.
Perfect little house!
This little house had everything we needed! It was exactly what we were looking for! Very well decorated for a nice relaxing and cozy vacation!
Private Garden Getaway at Dogwood Guest Cottage, Aiken, SC
Looking for a very relaxing place to stay? Look no further, this is it! Located near major roads through Aiken we were in downtown in minutes. Let time slow down and enjoy the birds, flowers and mature trees (and shade) every morning and late afternoon on the patio. The owner has made every effort to assure our comfort and had fresh flowers and fruit in the cottage. The owner's communication was very prompt and helpful to assist us as it was our first time using VRBO. Always respectful of our presence, a chance meeting with the owner added to the delightful stay we had at the Dogwood Guest Cottage.
Great place in Aiken, SC
We arrived to find a very nice 1 BR, 1 Bath with living room and kitchen. The place was very clean and seemed like new. There was fresh fruit and some assorted snacks available. The area was very quiet at night so we slept great! The only suggestion we would make is to have a better variety of bed pillows. Overall a great stay!
Thanks for the pillow suggestion. It's an easy way to make my guests more at home.
Fantastic cottage!! Just as described! Clean, cute, private, great yard....we will be back!!! thanks
