THE BUNGALOW IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR RENTAL ON ITS OWN - ONLY IF THE MAIN HOUSE IS RENTED WITH IT. This STRICT POLICY will ensure that all guests will have the privacy of the full property, even if they decide not to have access to the Bungalow. If you want to rent the main house without the bungalow, please indicate so in your request to book, and a separate (new) quote will be sent with the rates and fees for the bungalow removed.
Upon entry to the MAIN HOUSE, guests will be treated to a well-appointed and spacious open-floor plan. The combined living space of the Den, Kitchen, and Dining Area makes up a large portion of the home and flows seamlessly for entertaining or family events. The Den is adorned with two, large leather sofas, two armchairs, coffee table and side tables, and a 50-inch 4K smart television with DirecTV.
The Kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, gas range, granite countertops, and custom hickory cabinets. There is an ample supply of dishes, cookware, glassware, utensils, and kitchen gadgets to satisfy any guests gourmet urges.
The dining area includes an antique round oak table with seating for 6 people, and accommodation for 2 more at the center island bar.
Directly behind the kitchen, is laundry room with a high-capacity washer and dryer (gas) and a very large pantry space for storage of additional food and supplies. A door off of the laundry room leads to a spacious, screened-in rear porch that contains a granite wet bar with an additional small refrigerator and sink. In addition to the seating at the bar, there is a round table on the porch with seating for four.
The master bedroom has a King bed and features French doors which allow private entry to the screened-in rear porch. The ensuite mater bathroom contains an ample vanity space, along with an attached separate room for the shower and lavatory. The second guest room includes a queen bed, and the third guest room contains three twin beds. These additional guest rooms share a full bathroom that includes a shower and a jetted (Jacuzzi) bathtub with a safety handrail. All of the bedrooms have their own HD smart televisions with DirecTV and remote controls.
A full set of bath linen (8 bath towels, 4 hand towels and 4 wash cloths) is also provided.
The Backyard Bungalow (completed in March of 2018) is an open concept living space with a full luxury bath, full kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, and walk-in pantry with large-capacity washer and dryer. There are 2 queen beds, and one daybed with trundle (2 twins) in an open (shared) living area. The 700 square foot cottage has central air and heat and a state-of the art on-demand hot water heater.
The nearly 1-acre, quadruple lot is adorned with several fruit trees and edible and ornamental vegetation. A map of the property outlining the plantings is provided, so that guests may pick and eat any of the edible vegetation that is ready for harvest.
