Take that long-awaited romantic getaway to the mountains of Whistler and call this adorable suite home for a while. With charming mountain decor, a well-equipped kitchenette, and a gas fireplace to curl up next to, you can unthaw with ease at the end of each exciting day. The complimentary WiFi and TV also provide ample evening entertainment once the stars come out. Whistler Peak Lodge is enviably situated in the heart of Whistler Village, with grounds that include a fitness room for your morning workouts and ski/bike storage. The Whistler Village Gondola, the Excalibur Gondola, and the Fitzsimmons Express Chairlift are all within a quarter-mile stroll. If downhill skiing isn't your activity of choice, you can snowshoe, cross country ski, or peruse the many shops and restaurants that await practically outside your door. Come summer, take your pick of gorgeous hiking and biking trails and soak up the picturesque scenery. For a bit more action, take a thrilling zipline tour with Ziptrek Encounters (home of the longest zipline in Canada and the United States), conveniently located just over half a mile away.

Quiet, close to everything and easy stroll out onto the village

Second time we have stayed and would recommend. Studio room was big enough for two with all it's amenities but in the heart of the restaurant district to walk as well.

Great location, check in and check out was fast and easy. Heat was good, zero noisy! Is not a fancy place, but I think almost all Whistler affordable hotels are old.

Quaint cozy studio pad

You are in the heart of the village. Seconds from amenities and just a stroll across the street to access the famous lost lake trail. We really enjoyed staying here. The room was very clean, cozy and quiet for our quick getaway. Checking in was effortless and the staff were very friendly. We would stay here again.

Comfy place to enjoy

This was a great place that was extremely comfortable and enjoyable to stay in. The only issue that I had was trying to get the check in details the night before, I had to send many messages to Vacasa, it was very frustrating. Other then that all was great and would happily stay again.

Excellent management & service

We were initially concerned about the strong mold smell of the tile floor and bathroom upon arrival. I only mentioned our concern because management took the kind initiative to provide a courtesy phone call to ensure we were satisfied with the room. Because housekeeping would not be available until the next day, a very hard working and friendly man, Zaldi came immediately to identify and remedy the issue himself, eventhough it was already late at night 👍🙂. He put great effort & work into disinfecting and fully cleaning the bathroom and all tile surfaces. It was so clean and smelled good after he helped us. We greatly appreciate how much staff care about the premises and guests. I think the mop and other cleaning aids used by housekeeping just need to be bleached to kill the mold, then allowed to dry completely after use. I would respectfully like to recommend, washing the carpets in this unit, if possible. Because management was so caring, and service was phenomenal, my daughter and I would stay here again. Many thanks to Management and Support Staff.

Mediocre at best

My partner and I did not enjoy our stay. The access to our room was awkward, needing to go through the spa/fitness center. The parking was a maze. The hot tub was closed for COVID, it's 2024. The fridge was not cold enough, there were only two body towels which were small. The bathtub was fine but the side was falling apart, the lights were on a weird delay. The bed was maybe a queen but we have a sneaking suspicion it was just a double and the sheets kept coming off, there was also a stain on the sheets, there was also only one nightstand which is weird. There was coffee and tea in the room, but no sugar. There were no extra linens that we could find. There was only one small trashcan under the skink. It was also quite loud, which not the place's fault but did not add to our stay. Pros: walkable and convenient to Whistler village, wifi was fine and free, high ceilings. Fine if you're on a budget, but would not recommend.

Emplacement idéal dans Whistler

Points positifs: très propre, bien localisé, bien équipé, personnel très efficace et serviable. Points négatifs: les murs sont très mal isolés et les portes claquent fort. Les lumières de la chambre cessent parfois de fonctionner. Le drap contour ne correspond pas à la taille du matelas et donc il décroche ++. Globalement tout de même une très belle expérience et nous le recommandons à tous ceux qui souhaitent vivre Whistler sans se compliquer la vie.

Whistler get away May 22 to 24, 2022

Whistler Peak lodge is located across Earl’s restaurant, besides Pan Pacific Hotel and above Shoppers Drug Mart. Right in the middle of Whistler Village. Easy walking access towards Blackcomb area. It’s is an older lodging but the actual unit is very clean, spacious and “no musty”smell. Great for couples or 2 people accommodations. Parking is underground on P4. Elevator is easy access from parking to the unit (park by D elevator section) and take elevator PL to the village (PL). Staff are very helpful and give clear directions. Fast WIFI signal. Kitchen well equipped, all working condition. You can see the mountain and the village stroll on the window, it’s by the village and it could get noisy at night so just keep the windows closed, all is good. We will definitely stay here again and recommend to all couples. It’s a great place to stay👍

Small, but comfortable room, with great village location and room access.

The pluses : Property location is literally right in the middle of the village stroll, easy walk to the gondola, shops and restaurants. Room access is great, with an elevator just steps from the room (room is on the 6th floor). Check in and out was quick and easy. Room had the basics covered, nothing flashy, but everything worked ok. The two drawbacks were (1) the architectural design of the room itself is terrible - lots of wasted space, especially with a long narrow hallway, a VERY high pitched ceiling, and a portable A/C unit taking up space in front of the small windows, so walking space in the room is pretty tight overall, so it’s more like a bigger dorm room than a luxury hotel room (2) The indoor hot tub is a joke - it’s a very small tub in an equally small enclosed space that instantly makes you concerned about catching Covid if you hung around too long in there. Overall, though, for the price we paid, we got a fair deal and we’re satisfied.
