Our stay at the Sedona of Rockford was truly phenomenal. The property is beautiful, impeccably decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Every amenity is well thought out and intentional. The gardens are truly stunning. When we needed to communicate with the host, she was readily available and incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an incredibly unique stay, just off the beaten path!

I can’t say enough good things about this place! It’s absolutely stunning inside and out. My friend and I held a murder mystery party and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and strategize with each other! Every single person was absolutely impressed with the Sedona. Someone had even been there before and was excited to come back!They were extremely accommodating and friendly throughout the whole process. The house was spotless. I was actually sad to leave the next day! If we ever do it again, we know we already have the most perfect location to go back to! You can tell that thought and care goes into every inch of the house. I’m truly obsessed!

The house was very unique and had everything we needed. The backyard was especially nice to enjoy the many seating areas. The cantina had a musty odor, so we didn't get to use it, but there were lots of other places to hang out. The master bed was quite firm for those who like that. We did receive instructions not to move anything, but found working in the kitchen difficult with the many decorations. We needed to move some things for more counter space, but replaced when we left. Overall it was a fun and clean place to stay.

You have to see this property to believe it. Very artistic in design. Fun and full of interesting nooks and features. A neat experience and though we were just there a couple of days, id imagine a great place for a friend group get together!

A unique property with beautiful outdoor areas! The host was very helpful and prompt with answering any questions we had. We had a remarkable stay here! The only caveat we had is that the property is hard for anyone with mobility issues. Other than that this is one you will want to book!!

Really fun house to stay in. My wife, adult kids, and I enjoyed all the amenities and especially liked the outdoor areas with various places to hang out. The hosts obviously took meticulous care to craft such interesting areas in and around the house. The basement and arcade room were a blast too except my daughter destroyed me repeatedly in the Marvel game and Dig Dug LOL. I got her in Galaga though. Easy to hang out at the house and be tempted to not go anywhere else.

An absolutely beautiful home, inside and out. We had our son's wedding there, where I cooked for about 20 guests. The kitchen was nicely equipped for such a task. Very easy communication throughout the stay as well. I highly recommend this place for any special occasion. Everyone was very comfortable there, and we had ages 8 to 92 sstaying with us!

This place was super super awesome! I didn't realize that there were only 3 bedrooms, but there was definitely space for a lot of people to sleep *if you're okay with sharing beds*. 3 bedrooms, two full sized beds in the basement with pull out beds beneath. I feel like there may have even been two other pull out couches? But our group didn't need them so we didn't bother looking for them. For a close group of friends/family, totally perfect! The vibes were immaculate. We had everything we needed. Would definitely return!

Come back again during the warmer season and enjoy our gardens.There are 5 patios plus the cantina ,and we pride ourselves on a lovely experience out there as well! We had an amazing time for my birthday getaway. The only downside was that the power went out for quite a while due to the high winds but they delivered some flashlights for us in no time! This home is so beautiful- words can not describe. I definitely want to stay here again.

TL:DR VERSION: This is a great space and a welcoming host. Well-furnished and has lots of nooks and enhancements that make it a nice place to stay. After our departure there were substantially charged communications that occurred with the owner after that were only partially grounded; the owner’s communication included some unnecessarily inflammatory accusations/implications invoking DCFS and some bothersome invocation of children being observed outside on security cameras. Some important house safety issues existed that are easily resolvable and I would have let go barring the communication issues but these do merit additional consideration when selecting a space. Overall a regrettable situation for all parties.

Alan, the issues we encountered as my staff entered the villa were troublesome. As I relayed to you at the time, my staff were indeed "freaking out". So many issues with the chidren being apparently unsupervised and ruining some items. I sent you pictures, but not of everything my staff encountered. I won't go into details here, as that is not for public disclosure. That is not who we are. I'm so sorry these things happened, I wish you the best always.

A unique home in a quiet neighborhood with excellent amenities and eclectic decor. There are multiple areas for outdoor entertainment, and a marvelous hot tub. Enchanting lighting adorned the trees and plants. The largest indoor gathering area is the dining room with cozy seating for 6 at the table or in the lower level (basement) game room. There is only seating for 3 in the living room around the fireplace and TV armoire.Bathrooms and bedrooms were spotlessly clean and well appointed, as was the kitchen. Spices, coffees, and all cleaning and paper products were abundantly provided. Workspace for meal prep is a tad limited by the decor, which is also abundant. Parking is off street and can be gated. This property is a great value for the price! Would stay there again for sure!

This place was amazing. Definitely the most interesting place I have ever stayed! The decor was eclectic and fun, the beds were super comfortable, very clean and inviting! We arrived and they had the fireplace going for us! Such a nice touch. Sadly, I was there for my father’s funeral but this vrbo was so welcoming, we all felt at peace. Thank you!

Working with my team on this property and creating this sanctuary in the city has been one of my most rewarding journeys to date. I am a retired DCFS master trainer. Prior to that, my sculptures were to be found in many of the local stores and businesses including the lobbies of the Old Clock Tower resort. It has been my good fortune to have traveled extensively here and abroad over the years. This Spanish style home is reminiscent of what I have seen with pargeted embellishments and walls that could tell many tales. My vision is to see this, 'The Sedona of Rockford' as a Beacon of Light that inspires us all!
