We loved staying at this condo. It was clean and bright, and the location was perfect. So easy to access the beach and a gorgeous ocean view from the two balconies! The pool was heated, which was a definite plus since the weather turned cold when we first got there. We had one maintenance issue, and they showed up to fix it almost immediately. It was also nice that they only rent to families during spring break so we weren’t surrounded by rowdy college kids. There was some construction going on in the condo next door which was pretty loud, but that was one of the few negatives. Parking for one car was provided — it’s covered in a garage with easy access to the elevator to get to the condo. Make sure to bring your own beach towels as these are not provider. I would personally recommend bringing your own bath towels, as the ones in the condo are pretty small. We did have to buy hand soap as there wasn’t any in the kitchen or bathrooms. Overall, though, 5 out of 5 stars. Definitely recommend!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear you loved your stay and enjoyed the clean, bright condo, the beautiful ocean views from both balconies, and the convenient beach access. We're also glad the heated pool was a welcome bonus during the cooler weather. Thank you for your patience regarding the neighboring construction, and we're happy our maintenance team was able to respond quickly when you needed assistance. We also appreciate you mentioning our Spring Break family policy, as it's something many guests value when planning a relaxing getaway. Thank you for your recommendation and for choosing SPI Rentals. We truly appreciate your kind words and look forward to welcoming you back to South Padre Island again soon!

Beautiful View, Great Location, and Responsive Service

Their view, location and bed/bath is just as described. We needed to find inner peace for a few days and that sunrise and close walk to the beach helped. Property was very responsive when we locked ourselves out. Wish there were two less codes to get in/out/around as that was the part that required us to have our phones that had all the codes. Dated inside but that was as advertised. Responsiveness was great and the place was just what we needed and close to everything. We were lucky enough to get to watch a rocket launch on Monday. We will be back

After the 2nd day of construction noise, we had to move to a different condo. In addition, the condo needed serious updating and maintenance. No hot water at the kitchen sink. Broken grab bar in master bath. Wiring with duct tape.Sliding door trip hazard should at the least be marked. Master bed mattress not so good.On the positive the view was amazing.

We traveled from out of state to stay at South Padre Island, but upon arriving at our condo, we discovered bedbugs. The island was completely booked, leaving us with no choice but to leave the same day we arrived and return home early. Our entire vacation was ruined. I’m incredibly disappointed that the condo wasn’t properly inspected before our arrival—something as serious as bedbugs should have been caught and addressed. We spent a lot of money for what turned out to be no vacation at all.

Thank you for your feedback. We're truly sorry for the distressing experience you described and that your trip was cut short. We understand how upsetting it must have been to arrive for a long-anticipated vacation and encounter such a serious concern. Please know that we take any report of pests, especially bedbugs, with the utmost seriousness. As part of our standard procedures, this property is on a routine pest control program and is thoroughly inspected between guest stays. Upon receiving your report, we immediately contacted our licensed pest control provider to inspect the condo and provide treatment to ensure the issue was fully addressed. We regret that we were not able to provide a suitable alternative for you during such a high-demand period, however, we did provide you with a full refund. We genuinely understand your disappointment and have documented your feedback to continue improving our service. We hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future. Sincerely, Ashleigh T., General Manager – SPI Rentals

Appreciate the beautiful accommodations

Thank you to your team for the wonderful experience at SPI . The condo was great and the view was exceptional. We would love to return to this location with maybe a three bedroom instead of a two bedroom. Only drawback was the lack of washer and dryer in the condo itself. Thanks !

Lovely stay!

We loved our stay at Florence II 203. We had a great time at the beach and loved that they offered credit to rent beach equipment, it was so convenient! The place is clean but not updated in its amenities. The master bed was so comfy and so lovely that it was a king. Our only complaint was that it didn't have a washer and dryer. We have stayed here in the past and thought it had some but did not.

Great On the beach location

We selected this condo because it was in the location and good looking inside. My family of four enjoyed our time here. There a fewer units in this condo and that's good because there's more availability at the pool and hot tub to have it all to yourself. We also liked having a dedicated parking space in the garage. The master bedroom mattress was excellent- I caught up on much needed rest and slept more than I should. The best part is the view.

Great condo in the perfect location.

We had the best stay at Florence II. This is a perfect location with great and easy access to the beach. We didn't use the pool because we were so close to the beach. The condo itself was beautifully clean, and the king-size bed was very comfortable. We will definitely return here.
