Loved the location- just a quick walk to the beach. A nice view from the balcony and loved the potted vera plants. The A/C unit keep us nice and cool and the unit had everything we needed.

Great place, big balcony... not much of an ocean view but there is a square center where you can the water. It sits a couple buildings back. Family and I had a great time.

We really enjoyed our stay. Close to the beach and parking. Condo was very clean and the host was very nice and answered all my questions and concerns. Will definitely stay there again.

The unit smelled of cat or pet urine. One of the showers was covered in black mildew, the floors were dirty, the ac vents and ceiling fans were covered in layers of dust/dirt. There were more than half used rolls of toilet paper available in each restroom with no replacements and a tiny trash can in the kitchen with no bag replacements. The proximity to the beach was great, but it was not enough to make up for the unit. The most frustrating part of it all was that I specifically asked the host about the cleanliness of the unit before I booked and he flat out lied. When I contacted him about it after check in, he ignored my complaints, acted like I was over reacting and refused to take accountability or even apologize for how dirty the unit was (even after I sent him photos). There are better places available on the island. I booked here because of the proximity to the beach, but the unit was so awful, I ended up checking out a day early and lost out on the additional money I spent for that day. I do not recommend staying here unless you don’t mind living in filth.

Condo was exactly as pictured. I have never been in such a great place. There is construction going on but it in no way diminished pur experience. The splash pad was fabulous and security is the best. I treated a friend to this trip and she was greatly impressed. I will for sure return.

The host Ross was very responsive to our needs. The rooms were a good size and the unit was very clean. Loved the fact that everything you would need for the beach was in the unit. Chairs, umbrellas, beach toys for kids, body boards, etc. We really enjoyed our stay. Also the patio was a good size and had plenty of seating.

Beach view was very nice. The pools were amazing. The property was clean, pathway to beach was very nice. Lots of children, if u have young kids it's perfect. Unfortunately for me I arrived early after my long drive from Ohio with my dog & groceries, the property owner did NOT allow me to check in. I definitely would of allowed it. So do not arrive early. Housekeeping showed up at 9:30 am that was unexpected. Other than that it was nice.

Maam, Your check in was at 4pm. You arrived at 1030am and demanded to be let in. The unit was still being cleaned when you arrived and there was no request for an early check in. There are NO dogs allowed in the unit which is why we charged you a cleaning fee which you refuse to pay.

Excellent vacation spot and I highly recommend. We will be using this place again. The best beach access and two very nice pools! The property owner was excellent and quickly responded to any of our questions.

The host Ross was very rude when I asked about the a couple amenities that were listed. No shampoo, no paper towels, and only 2 wash cloths for a week. His response: Ross Ma'am,You specifically stated that there are two washcloths available. There are only two guests listed on the reservation. If your needs for washcloths exceed the two that are provided, then there is a washer/ dryer that has been made available.To host We had a lovely time at the condo.FYIThe blood drops on the comforter are not from us.It was on the comforter when we arrived. I didn't wash it because I’m I didn't know if it was washable.After reporting the blood on the comforter, which could be a health hazard with blood borne pathogens, He sent me an additional charge for the blood. Which was NOT FROM US. RossHost has sent you a payment requestBed sheets, pillow case and comforter had blood. I reported the blood to the owner out of common courtesy so that he could properly clean the item before the condo was used by another guest. I am being accused of soiling this item. If it was me or my husband who soiled the item. We would have paid the cleaning bill. BUT, we DID NOT SOIL THE COMFORTER or other items. The only way to prove that the blood is from myself or my husband is from a DNA test that we are willing to take. Like I said It’s NOT our blood. And I’m not paying for the cleaning. There was also a clump of hair in the shower drain. I reported this incident to the VRBO TEAM.

We had a very enjoyable time despite some unexpected events. The property owner called me the day before the trip to let me that there was a problem with the condo but he had a solution for me. He had gotten in touch with another property owner and offered us another condo on a piece of the property closer to the pool and beach. We had a glorious time. I could see the kids in the pool from the balcony and i had a great view of the ocean. He gave me back one nights stay and promised a free night with my next stay at his condo. That Ross is a great guy and i look forward to spending some time in his condo next time, the balcony furniture looks amazing. Thanks Ross and thanks to the property owners that stepped up at a moment's notice and let us stay at their condo. I highly recommend!!

Overall stay

It was a nice place to stay, but we did notice it didn’t look as clean when we first arrived. The owner got in touch with us as soon as possible and got cleaning people there within the hour. We also ran out of soap and toilet paper, that was a little disappointing. I was overall happy the owner was concerned and helped us get that problem fixed!

Bahia Mar beach front condo

Grounds around the condo are very well kept. Very nice heated pool and hot tubs. Condo had everything needed for a long term stay. Rooms were cleaned prior to our stay but the whole condo could use a thorough cleaning a couple times a year. Shower in the guest bathroom could use an update. Beds are comfortable and overall it’s a nice place to stay.
