This property, while well-located in the Latin Quarter, was not meant for the elderly (my wife and I are 80 and 79). In a phrase, the property does not do justice to its pictures. The steps are steep and difficult to negotiate. The worst of it is that although the bedroom is listed as a "loft" just above the main living, what is not noted (or obvious from the pictorial display on line) is that the ceiling in the bedroom is only about 4 1/2 feet high--that is, you can't stand upright in it and have to slither out of the bed to reach the steep stairs leading down (which is also where the bathroom is). The kitchen is basically a kitchenette with a hot plate and microwave. We never used it, even though we had hoped to, which is why we got an apartment rather than a hotel room. The bathroom is the best part of the accommodations. It was recently remodeled and quite adequate with a nice walk-in shower. The place claims to have a/c, and it does, but it is a portable unit which was hardly adequate for cooling. We were just lucky we were there before the June heat wave hit Paris. I would not recommend this place for anyone over 25. Sorry.
