There is a reason why that property scores 10 out of 10 the scenery was beautiful. There was a trail that we were able just to walk to and we had an incredible stay. The home was nicely decorated and comfortable, and had all the amenities you need inc great coffee and hot tub.The host left excellent instructions on how to properly use the utilities, so well we never had to contact them.

Incredible views from the house, great kitchen. Our hosts made sure there was everything needed to have a great stay. Hot tub, outdoor grill and the kitchen were easy to work in. We have been on a long road trip this was a great place to chill, regroup and get laundry done before heading out for the last 2 weeks of our trip The location is great, easy to get around.

We were told just prior to our trip that the washing machine was broken and quotient be ready in time. Other than that, everything else worked out fine. z great views and beautiful home.

Beauty and the Beast offered stunning views, ample space in luxurious setting and was well equipped. As one in our party commented: “This is the best equipped VRBO I have ever been in.” We hope to return with family members in the near future!

Overall the property was nice and as described and as shown in the pictures. We used the hot tub a couple of times (and added chemicals as directed on the laminated sheet), and enjoyed eating outside, watching sunsets, and taking an afternoon break after some early morning hiking.The owner showed up, unexpectedly, at the house an hour after we checked in, despite having at least the previous 6 hours (time between check out and our check in), so they could pick up a brick from the backyard. It felt liked we were being "checked out". There was no heads up, no communication, just a knock on the door.That in of itself, while odd, would have been OK. Unfortunately, it wasn't the only time the owner stopped by either. Part of the VRBO experience is the abscense of the owner. We never knew when they might stop by again, and it left us feeling a little uneasy for our entire stay.One other thing to note for your stay. Perhaps this is common in this area of the country (for air flow?), but there are large openings above the bedroom doors. So, even if you close the door, there is no privacy. Not a concern for the two of us, but if you have a family/group be informed. There are no doors on the bathrooms in the two large bedrooms either. If someone is taking a shower / using the bathroom and you are in the bedroom or the living room you can hear them.

Dear Rich,  Thank you for staying at our beautiful vacation property, and thank you for leaving it clean and undamaged.   It's important when reviewing homes on VRBO to base your review on actual events and perhaps not your personal interpretation or judgement of those events.   Everyone has their own biases, phobias, and particular mindsets that may lead them to misjudge things.   Our meet and greet when you arrived was nothing more than that.  I assure you, it was not some covert attempt to "check you out" and neither was our visit to take the garbage can out and back from the curb.  I'm sorry those actions caused you stress and anxiety.  Hosts have no problem avoiding those actions should you contact them prior and request so. This place was absolutely gorgeous, and the perfect place to come back to after a long day of hiking, shopping and exploring. I felt like we were able to experience Sedona like locals because we were close to just about everything. And the view out of that window past the backyard is just incredible. I liked the modern touches in this place. The pictures truly don't do it justice. My travel companions and I were fighting over the master bedroom (I lost), but it's really nice that all three bedrooms each have their own bathroom. It's also nice having laundry facilities right on site. Peter was very communicative and I thank him for sharing such a beautiful, peaceful place.

This home and our stay in Sedona were amazing... The home is beautiful (the images reflect the house and the views of Thunder Mountain and Chimney Rock as they are, not photoshopped), and the amenities are fantastic. The home is just 1/2 mile from the Teacup trailhead, less than 15 minutes from most of the day hike trailheads in the Sedona area, and close to the major shopping and restaurants in the area. The homeowners, Peter and Susan, were attentive and responsive to any questions that we had. We highly recommend this home to anyone looking for an amazing time in Sedona!
Coffee Pot Rock. There's a fun hike to the base that we recommend using the All Trails App for to make sure you stay on the trail!

Very nice home with stunning views. Great amenities including heated bathroom floors and rainhead shower in master, open concept, fireplace, hot tub, amd more! Location provided great access to nearby stores, hiking trails, and downtown. Only major downside was bed linens and pillows - both were rough and stiff, versus soft and plush. Not much communication with host, but check-in was easy and clear instructions left in home. Overall, a nice stay.

Our stay at Beauty and the Beast was everything we could have wanted. The house is to architectural perfection set in the beauty of Sedona. The view out of the huge back window was nothing short of awesome and the neighborhood very accessible to walking, hiking, and an easy ride down the hill to town, the markets, and et al. Loved the central kitchen where we could all cook and eat. Thanks to our hosts, The Tanenbaum family

This is an incredible property - even better than the pictures! The location in West Sedona is great - you have access to lots of restaurants and hiking without having to go into Uptown if you don't want to deal with traffic. The property is clean, and very well maintained - everything is spotless, well stocked, well organized. We are so glad we found this property and can't wait to come back!

Great property! Loved our stay!

We really enjoyed our time in Sedona. The property description was accurate, check in was a breeze. We found it clean and comfortable. The view was fantastic! We didn't end up using the hot tub but I did peek in it, and it was clean and in order. There are a couple of outdoor security cameras on the property. I did have a bit of a scare sitting out on corner patio at dusk. I looked down and there was a scorpion not far from my feet. I do know they are out in Arizona but I guess I thought maybe they were out in the desert area more!! I have immune system issues and react quite badly to even bug bites, so this could have really taken me down. The owner said she had never seen any scorpions on the property, even suggested we brought it with us from Phoenix, which I find highly unlikely going straight from airport rental car to property with a zippered suitcase. It sounds like it's a rare occurrence, but just wanted to give a heads up to future guests to be on the lookout! We didn't get to see the"Javelina" on garbage day, but I'm glad you told my friend about them or I may have been quite surprised to have seen them running through the yard! I had never heard of them! Interesting! I would definitely rent this place again, it is conveniently located and easy to access several activities. There are also a ton of maps you can use during your stay.

Hi Lisa, we're happy that you enjoyed your stay at our vacation home. It's unfortunate that you didn't get to see the Javelina herd that frequents our property. They are a sight as they sometimes have the cutest babies. It sounds like you also got close to a Vinegarroon, also known as a "whip scorpion". It's a black bug that resembles a scorpion, but its tail has no venom. They are pretty common around here. We have yet to see a black scorpion although we once saw a translucent one. The wild west!

Fantastic views

My wife and I and our Daughter and Grandson and his girlfriend spent a week here. The home has great views, and is close to shopping and restaurants. The home is very well appointed and we had a great visit. Would highly recommend.
