About Malcolm Worby
Caroline and I moved to Lauzerte from near Cape Town, South Africa over a year ago. We also offered Airbnb at our home there, so have had plenty of experience and a lot of enjoyment from hosting visitors to the special places we've lived. We named our gîte 'Petit Paradis' based on the reaction of some of the people when they first visited us here, 'this is a little paradise' («c'est un petit paradis»). We look forward to welcoming you to our 'little paradise' and hope you enjoy your time here in this special part of the world, as much as we do!

Why Malcolm Worby chose Lauzerte
Fabulous, quiet and private location with far-reaching views, close to the unspoiled medieval hill town of Lauzerte, with its history and cultural events. It is an easy drive to other historic towns and villages throughout the area, including Montaigu de Quercy, Montjoi, Montcuq, Moissac, which are all within 20 minutes. The larger historic towns of Cahors, Agen and Montaban, with their historic sites, museums, shops, cafes, restaurants, etc., are each about a 50 minute drive away. There are several local markets close-by including Saturday in Lauzerte and Sunday in Montcuq, 20 minutes away, both of which are highly recommended. The Malbec vineyards with their Chateaux situated along the Lot Valley, are about a 30 minute drive.
