Situated on one of San Diego's most beautiful beaches, this spectacular beachfront home is the quintessence of Southern California coastal living. With 5 bedrooms, 5 1/2 baths, 6 levels, elevator for convenience and handicapped access, a surround sound media room, three large ocean facing decks with outdoor music systems, jet tub in master bath, luxury and quality throughout, a beautiful beachfront home on the nicest, least crowded, most private public almost always sandy beach in La Jolla, it is simply wonderful.

The beachfront facing living/dining room is mostly glass with wonderful panoramic views and sounds of the breaking waves. The home’s multi-level design provides different vantage points of the ocean with an elevator and stairs to access each level. For families with small children, safety gates for the stairways can be rented from a local company. The elevator is centrally located for easy access to all rooms. Each of the 3 decks, and most of the 5 bedrooms have wonderful ocean views. The sounds and sights of the ocean waves restore the soul.

Within easy walking distance of wonderful La Jolla Village and close driving distances to many of San Diego's finest attractions, it is the premiere home base to enjoy all La Jolla and San Diego have to offer.

Perfect location and beautiful home! Had to deal with some pesky ants which come with the territory in the area. Host was wonderful through the whole process.

Luxury and location for the win

This was our second year in a row staying at Douglas's beautiful home for a week at the end of July. We had our parents in their 80s, adults in their 50s and kids ages 15-19 - a total of nine of us. We will keep coming back as long as we are able. The location is just perfect, within walking distance to most everything we wanted to see or experience in La Jolla. The taco stand down the road is always busy with a line out the door, for a good reason. The fish market across the street from there has outstanding product for making meals at home. It's a busy area and the beach was crowded almost every day we were there, but that's to be expected when we're near the end of summer.

fabulous vacation

spacious and with numerous bedrooms and bathrooms. Well equipped and with great appliances and outside grill. Dramatic views of the ocean with easy access to the beach. Tidal pools are unbelievable especially for kids. Owner is very friendly and helpful, willing come and remedy questions quickly,

Amazing House with Direct Beach Access and Wonderful View. Great Host!

My family and I stayed at this house for a week. Family included spouse, grandparents, siblings, and my young children. The accomodations worked beautifully for our wide ranging age group! House includes an elevator for older guests who can't climb stairs. Cliff was the most amazing host. He took the time to walk us through all aspects of the house and greet us when we first arrived. He has an amazing compendium of notes and information to assist while you're in the house and for local attractions and plans. The view from the house was world class. The house is situated on a smaller public beach with direct access onto the beach with world-class views. The house was as advertised with five full bedrooms each with their own bathrooms and all wonderfully set up by the host. My family and I had an amazing time. We hope to revisit the house again sometime in the future. Thanks for everything, Cliff!

Ideal location, home, views, host.

This was the best place we have ever stayed. Our family of 6 adults stayed for 6 nights. Incredible location. Walking distance for us to the middle of La Jolla. Beautiful, well designed home. Directly on the beach with unobstructed views of the ocean. Cliff was a gracious host. He met us at the door and showed us around. He told us not to hesitate to call him if we needed anything. As is turned out, we didn't need to bother him because everything worked perfectly during our stay. Two of the bedrooms have sweeping ocean views, with corner glass and private decks. We were thrilled to be able to stay at Cliff's property. We will definitely be back! Full five stars.
