Hi, my name is Catherine and I am an avid traveller and explorer. I love visiting new countries and experiencing new cultures. I equally enjoy experiencing traditional, original ways of life and living as much as I enjoy modern city breaks. I love Latin American dancing and perhaps one day I will try flamenco dancing too! My favourite holidays were spending 3 weeks in Australia and island hoping around the Greek Islands. Having said that, I always feel at home and happy to be back in Spain and Olvera is a beautiful place to experience authentic Spain, that nourishes the soul!
Why chose Olvera
Our home is located in Olvera, Andalusia, Spain. Olvera is a bustling small town in the unspoiled inner Andalusian hills, which forms part of the famous Andalusian Trail of Pueblos Blancos, the Trail of the Whitewashed Villages. It boasts excellent infrastructure and is surrounded by numerous tourist destinations attracting visitors from around the world including: La Via Verde, Zahara de la Sierra, Setenil and Grazalema. The historical town of Ronda, one of the main tourist attractions of Andalusia, is only 30 km away. The nature reserve, Peñon de Zaframagón, an impressive rock outcrop with a colony of huge griffon vultures, is 14 km from the town. The UNESCO biosphere reserve Sierra de Grazalema natural park is also within an easy reach. People flock to Olvera and the nearby Algondonales to enjoy unparalleled scenary and to enjoy walking, cycling and paragliding activities. Casa Resolana is situated in a traditional, peaceful and friendly neighbourhood of Olvera. The house is within walking distance of all amenities (for example, the cathedral square is 2 minutes walk away) and no matter which way you walk, the views are fascinating. A small cosy tapas bar is just a few meters away, and there are great bars, restaurants, tapas places and shops close-by. Whether you just want to relax and enjoy superb cuisine and local wine, learn more about Andalusian culture, or go hiking, climbing, horseback riding or paragliding, there is something for everyone to provide an unforgettable holiday in this fascinating area.
What makes this House unique
You will have the complete freedom of the house, including kitchen; dining area, with large dining table; bedroom with seating area, TV, wifi and DVD player, second floor bedroom/seating area looking out over a large terrace with amazing views and outside dining table.
