Ask a questionWhat makes this Cottage unique
Its waterfront location makes it perfect for all water sports. Likewise, you can find hiking nearby on local trails, or make the short 40-minute drive to Franconia Notch, Appalachian trails and other amenities. Mountain bike from the door, or make the short 35-minute drive to Kingdom Trails in Burke, Vermont -- home of some great mountain biking circuits and great riders. Lovely farmers markets are close by, including the one in St. Johnsbury on Saturdays that sells fruits and vegetables, foods, clothes, crafts, and other interesting things. Go fishing right from the dock or head out on the lake for deeper access. Harvey's Lake is known for its huge trout. Lastly, there is no better spot for watching flocks of migrating birds rest on the lake than in the fall, with spectacular foliage highlighting the hills and fields to the west. 13 miles to St. Johnsbury, 25 miles to Lyndonville, 30 miles to Montpelier, 45 miles to Hanover, and 70 miles to Burlington.
