Suitability
- wheelchair accessibleThere is ramp on the side of the house that enables wheelchair access to the ground floor (essentially the second level) via the side of the house to the back deck and back door. From this level there are good views of the ocean and the natural environment surrounding Oceana Sunset. The shower in the bathroom on the ground floor does not have wheelchair access (as there is a slight step/lip around the base of the shower). However, the bath could be used, assuming there were no serious mobility issues. From the side ramp, there is also direct access into the front bedroom (called bedroom 3 ), there is a slight brick lip between the carpet and the outside deck but I believe this could be easily negotiated in a wheel chair (possibly with slight assistance needed). Overall, given the house's placement on top of a hill, we think the house is reasonable wheelchair friendly
