Notes
- The house has tiled stairs , but not narrow but always take care ! It can be quite cold in the winter months so it’s a good idea to bring warm indoor clothes, heaters are provided but these houses are built to keep the heat out ( summer) so fleeces and fluffies are a good idea if you’re here between October to April when it’s warmer outside than in ! I will be happy to help with giving info about things to do , places to see etc , this is a fantastic base to explore and all tastes I’m sure can be catered for . As this is a working village not an enclave of tourists you will hear street noise from time to time , cars , motos , dogs and kids not to mention the voices of the locals as they go about their daily life .. car horns letting you know the bread delivery is here or the gas bottles, but it doesn’t go on all day and night thankfully, and peace you will definitely find ! A welcome pack of milk water eggs bread butter jam Wine or cava can be ordered in advance for 20euros

Hello , hola my name is celia which is where the name for casa Celestina was taken ... on looking at name meanings it seems celia is celestial so the name Celestina was given as my Nik name and as I truly do enjoy all things celestial and the stars that shine bright over the little patio , well I think it was a perfect choice! I’ve owned a holiday home here for 13yrs and have been visiting at least four times a year until I was fortunate enough to move out here permanently earlier this year from the uk. Im a semi retired hairdresser and had my own business for over 20 yrs which I loved having, I enjoy meeting people, being social, keeping fit and living life to the full ! Im mum to two strapping sons and have two delicious grandchildren. I’ve made lots of friends here both ex pat and local Spanish who really do enjoy us being in ‘their’ town . I love the pace of life here but occasionally hanker after a bit more of a buzz so then I’ll pop to Seville or Malaga for the different vibe . Walking out in the countryside is so rewarding here , lots of Spanish are into rural pastimes and big on cycling which I’m not. I like fashion and art , I expect that’s the hairdresser in me ; music of most types from house , jazz , drum and bass to classical which is a joy to listen to ! I’ve been told I’ve got good taste in decor which I’m pleased about and hope it shows in my first venture into the world holiday rentals I speak some Spanish, I’ve been trying to learn it for years but hope now Im here it’ll get better sooner , I’ve always believed from being a kid one should at least learn a few words of the language where you’re visiting. Lastly I’ll explain the photo... Carnaval in olvera 2019 I was lucky to be involved in the procession along with a few friends, they made our costumes, the theme being Picasso’s women and we all had a dabble at painting some parts of them .. we looked fabulous I must say ( even the guys) !!
