Cindy&David live in Calgary and spend time at their house in Arizona in the winter. Cindy is a professor at the University of Calgary Veterinary Medicine school. David operates a Geotechnical services company that applies seismic techniques. This cottage has been in Cindy's family since 1972 and has become a big part of David's life. Every year they spend a month of the summer on Georgian Bay. A place of quiet restfulness and outdoor opportunities.

What makes this cottage unique
This property is on a road that has very limited number of cottages and adjacent to a provincial park. Some of our favorite trips include riding the bicycles south about 2km into the provincial park along an old two track to very private beach and/or then hike up to Smokey Head Bluff for a picnic. Or a loop on the Bruce trail side trails also within the provincial park. Another favorite trip is to canoe north to a secluded bay where large rocks very near to the waters surface can be stood on and swam around. The night sky from the shore chairs is always a treat.
