About Warren Lenoir
I'm a retired Graphic Designer. I split my time on Cape Cod and a Florida home. Summers I rent & maintain the main house at the Compound, (Bountiful Cottage), and live in my former artist's studio, (Blackfish Design Studio). For over 20+ years I have worked as an Assistant Gallery Director in Provincetown at the Rice Polak Gallery. I have over 25+ seasons of rental experience, assisting guests in getting the most out of their vacation adventure.
Warren Lenoir purchased this House in 1991
Why Warren Lenoir chose Pleasant Point
Many years ago I discovered this neighborhood while exploring Wellfleet locations in the winter. I always thought this would be a lovely location; I was romanced by the feel of the established turn of the century/early 20th century cottages and proximity to Pleasant Point Landing and Blackfish Creek. I waited many years for an opportunity to purchase this home. In 1991 I was fortunate enough to acquire Bountiful Cottage and slowly work on restoration and updating it.
What makes this House unique
The house, built in the late1890's, is located in a quiet neighborhood of Victorian era summer cottages that is unique to this area. Located just across the street from Logy Bay/Blackfish Creek, great for Kayaking, long marsh/beach walks and swimming. The restored/refurbished Victorian era beach house: I like my summer guests to feel special. I'm available to help/fix/maintain with any challenges that might arise with the home while they are visiting. The beach is a short 2-3 min walk down a wooded lane/pathway that begins right at the end of the driveway.

The Bountiful Cottage was exactly as advertised. My family spent 10 wonderful days in the cottage and immensely enjoyed our stay. Warren was a very cordial and accommodating host and made us feel very welcome. The location was steps to the bay and perfect for evening swim and only minutes from downtown Wellfleet and local beaches and ponds(we tried them all). The cottage itself was very quant and filled with interesting antiques and yet very comfortable and a quintessential cape experience. As a family of 4 it was perfect, but could easily accomodate a slightly larger group. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for a great Cape experience.
A wonderful stay at Bountiful
We have been coming to Wellfleet for over 25 summers, generally staying at a few houses we return to each year. This summer, we needed to find a new location because we were visiting in July. We normally visit in August, and our previous houses were not available. I could not be happier that we were fortunate enough to stay at Bountiful Cottage. Warren is terrific and the cottage is so beautiful and restful. In all of our years, we had never stayed in the Pleasant Point area. We so enjoyed running long the trails in the Fox Island preservation, which connect through to Pilgrim Spring reservation and the Indian Neck area. I could not believe we had never stayed on Pleasant Point, before, it is a perfect location. The house itself is immaculate and beautifully furnished in the most lovely way. Warren has interesting artwork and collections displayed, everywhere. The house is an historic structure and very interesting, architecturally. But, it is completely updated and we especially appreciated the well-appointed kitchen and comfortable beds. One of our adult daughters slept in the den on the day bed, which also pulls out to a full size and she was completely comfortable there. So, the cottage really has three full bedrooms, in that way. Warren could not be nicer and more helpful. He is terrific. We definitely will return next summer and I have to say this is our new favorite place to stay in Wellfleet!
Pleasant Point Family Vacation
My family spent a week at Pleasant Point this year. Because there are 9 of us including grandkids we needed two cottages and therefore selected Bountiful Cottage for our two adult kids and their spouses in addition to another one at Pleasant Point for the rest of the family. We found the cottage very nice, clean, well equipped and even air conditioned for those really hot nights. We will becoming back again next year and will look forward to another stay in Bountiful Cottage.
A most charming cottage
This was my second year at Bountiful Cottage and it was every bit as wonderful as my first stay! I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a private, tranquil place to unwind, relax and enjoy a most beautiful part of the Cape - South Wellfleet. Warren is very welcoming and even had fresh flowers and a bottle of wine on the table for my arrival! I will be back again next year!
Comfortable, lots of character, great location!
Bountiful Cottage is a sweet place, the owner has filled it with interesting art and craftwork and antiques. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen well-equipped. Short walk to the beautiful bay. We really enjoyed using the outdoor shower. Warren is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
Adorable cottage in a peaceful setting
This was our 9th trip to the Cape and it was one of the best. Warren’s cottage had everything we needed and more! We’ve never had a welcome gift before...nice touch! The house is fully stocked for making meals if you want, but is close enough to lots of great places to eat! Everything was clean and tidy. Our daughter loved the sleeping porch and we never even used the second bedroom. There are games and puzzles if you’re rained in, but there is so much to do in the area to keep busy!
We enjoyed the private beach just down the dirt path and launched our kayaks for a paddle to a couple of amazing spots further away. The setting is very quiet...very few cars, since it’s a dead end. So peaceful! So glad to have found this place and we hope to return!
