Good Stay in Quiet Location
We stayed here for 5 nights in September 2023. The studio is laid out well and makes good use of its space. The kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, two burners and a small fridge. There was a good selection of cutlery, plates and cookware. There is ample storage in the closet area. The sofa bed (currently not shown in the VRBO photos) is comfortable. Instructions are provided for access from the street, access to the apartment door and WIFI ID/password. This information was provided a few days before our arrival. The studio is quiet and located in a vibrant area where there appears to be more permanent residents than tourists. A laundromat is located just down the street if required. There are several small grocery stores in the area for food and paper product shopping (i.e. toilet paper or paper towels). There is a nice sense of community within the permanent residents of this apartment complex. The bathroom in the studio is at a higher level than the main living area. There is a step of approximately 10 inches that is required to step in and out of that room. This wasn't an issue for us but could be for some. A feature that we found charming was the bell that tolled lightly on the hour and half hour. (The bell does not toll 24 hours.) Overall, we enjoyed our stay a great deal.
