Why Tracy Betzig chose Wilmington
We fell in love with this home many years ago while we were visiting in Vermont. We decided to go look at some properties with a realtor and this has been our getaway home ever since!
What makes this House unique
Our home is ten minutes to Mt Snow and about two miles to downtown Wilmington which offers great restaurants and shops.

So happy you enjoyed our home! We hope you return again to enjoy our home and town! Regards
Nice house - Short drive to Mount Snow
The house worked out great for our group of 11 (plus 2 dogs) who went up for a ski weekend!
Thanks Robert for the kind words! We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at our home! We hope that you will keep our home in mind for future stays! Thanks again! Best, Tracy
Great location and host
Tracy was a great host- very responsive and set us up with everything we needed for our trip. The house is located in chimney hill which is close to both downtown Wilmington and Mt Snow. The house fit 9 adults and 2 kids comfortably, with room to spare. I would definitely rent here again.
Thank you for the kind words David! We are so happy that you enjoyed our home! Looking to having you all again!
Cozy Cabin in Vermont
I stayed here recently with a small group of friends; Tracy was incredibly gracious and helpful throughout our stay. The property itself has a cozy cabin feel, which is exactly what we were looking for. The proximity to the ski/snowboard mountain is of course incredible. We had a great experience here, and recommend it to prospective renters.
Thank you Charlie! We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at our home! We hope you will revisit our home next year! Best wishes!
It worked, but....
Nine adults, all family members, stayed in this house for a wedding over a summer weekend. This is a somewhat tired ski house. The downstairs, where you enter, has 3 of the five bedrooms, and in an admittedly very wet week, it smelled very moldy. The dehumidifier was overloaded. Upstairs, which has two bedrooms and the kitchen, living areas and a bathroom, was much more pleasant. There is a loft with a couple of trundle beds and some people moved out of the basement to the noisy and stuffy loft, which was still an improvement over the basement. Kitchen was adequate, and it was a nice surprise to find several basic supplies (paper towels, coffee filters, dish soap, etc).
The very steep driveway was badly washed out after some heavy recent rains. One car did not attempt the driveway, which meant carrying gear up the steep slope to the house.
Overall, the house worked for us, but it made me more cautious about booking in the future. I would not choose this place again.
I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy our home. As any home that is closed up during very humid and rainy conditions, the ground level does get damp. As we do have a humidifier, it does shut off when full. We are currently working on getting a new humidifier that can drain into our washer the help eliminate the problem.
The recent onset of heavy rain to the area did wash out part of our driveway and we are on a list to have it repaired. As we live out of state, we are at the mercy of others for repairs.
We do apologize for the above and would have appreciated you reaching out to us directly during your stay as we may have been able to get our caretaker out to the house.
Again, we are sorry about your stay and we do take great pride in our home and want people to enjoy it as much as we do. We hope that you can reconsider in the future.
I was at a family wedding and needed a place for 10 family members including a baby. Everything was clean and peaceful. It was wonderful to have the open space to gather together around said baby, first of his generation. Tracy was very responsive and helpful when I had questions.
We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay at our home! We strive to make it a pleasurable experience for all! Please keep us in mind for future travel to Vermont! Thanks again for choosing our home!
