Spent 3 nights here with family and loved it! We had 6 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone. Gorgeous views! Enjoyed the pool table too. :)
Thank you! It was a pleasure having you and your group.
The spirit of this place is about decompressing from the stress of our lives. The lake scene from the back deck just makes you stop and a stare. While sitting on the back deck a pileated woodpecker made an appearance, wow! The house itself is really more like a home than a place for renting, very comfortable. The kitchen is awesome, really big and easy to work in. Our dogs had a lot of fun in the fenced backyard and on the deck. Our dogs are family, are all rescues, and we would always want to bring them with us. Because of places like this one we can. Thanks so much.
You were amazing guests! So glad you enjoyed it.
We love the calm and serenity of the home and the peace of the lake and the area.
That's exactly how I feel when I am there. Perfect description "decompress".
Great place! huge!
Awesome views....I'm not sure we left the Kitchen and deck.....It was my first VRBO so nothing to compare it to, but I have zero complaints.
We had a great time. Caught some fish. Lake was weedy but could have been the time of year. House was very nice.
The inside was great with new appliances, except the refrigerator. No problem with it.
The sectional had two recliners, neither worked. The recliners were in pictures, which is one of the reasons we choose this place. With my handicap I need to raise my legs.
We also choose this property for the access to the water from the pier. I had talked to Christine before renting and she told me there were 3 or 4 steps and I could access the pier with a Walker. The slope is very steep, I went other places Christine recommended for handicapped access.
The yard is fenced for a dog. The first two days were great, our small dog found he could go through the steps to escape.
We had a relaxing time and would recommend it for non-handicapped families with larger dogs.
The lake views erre phenomenal. I talked to Christine several times and enjoyed each talk. She was like a friend I never met.
I'm so sorry you weren't able to access the pier. I should have been more clear about multiple steps, each being 3 or 4. When I had my hip replacement I was able to maneuver the stairs. The couch recliners are disconnected because we had some bad experiences with people breaking them.
I'm glad my recommendations worked out for you and I hope you were able to catch some of our fish.
Thank you for the chat also, it felt like I've known you for years.
God bless you and keep you strong!
