Great house for a big group
House fits 3+ families comfortably. Cozy, warm and close to great skiing.
Had a great time and the house was perfect for us.
Once we found the house, GPS sent us on a bit of a wild goose chase, we had a lovely week. It is close to several ski resorts and the skiers in the group traveled to at least two of them. The kitchen was stocked with all the tools we needed to cook meals. All ten of us could fit around the table at one time so we were able to have meals together. Any questions or problems we had were quickly taken care of by the caretaker Debbie. The house was comfortable and clean and had character.
Great for range of ages and large group!
We arrived after a few minutes of initial confusion (the house number listed is off by “1”!) and were thrilled at the expansive space for our 8 grandchildren 10 mos - 12!) and 5 couples. Kitchen had lots of needed tools- mixer, food processor, (brought a turkey pan and sheet pans) and we were able to improvise when things were a little short- (food storage) the kids played outside a LOT (bring snow gear!) house had sleds and they found a sledding hill. Even tho it was thanksgiving, the market (about 10 mins away) was open until 1 and had many last minute items. Internet was spotty, (house could use boosters) but has a house phone and there was one TV (not two, we rigged it up to our laptop for netflix). We had a GREAT time, sheets and towels and necessary immediate surfaces were clean, but it is an old farmhouse- dishwasher was adequate, but leaked a little- extra fridge in garage worked for extras (bday cake, beverages).
The kids bedroom was a dream- large large large with 6 twins and tons of space to spread out away from the Main living room and above their room is a large open Rec room where they played tag and balloon games- there was also ping pong-
GREAT time and place for a family gathering!
Wonderful home away from home!
My husband and I stayed here with some of our friends this past weekend, and we absolutely loved our time at this house. It is well cared for, cozy, and very roomy - having so many bedrooms and bathrooms is certainly a plus! The caretaker, Deb, was so helpful and friendly, and the house itself had all the amenities we needed to feel at home. Would definitely stay here again!!
