Tiny Tipsy Cabin
It was just as you said it was. Small, tipsy and very secluded. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.
Alki beach getaway
We absolutely loved our stay at the tiny tipsy cabin! Just perfect for the start of our pacific coast adventure. It was a short 15-20 minutes from downtown Seattle. We loved that we could escape out of the hectic city at night, the restaurants on Alki beach are amazing as well.. you could walk to Salty’s and I definitely recommend the brunch! We also drove down around the cove to Cactus (Mexican food) and it was so so good! Thanks for letting us enjoy this perfect secluded cabin!
Wooded retreat just blocks from the hustle and bustle of W Seattle
The cabin is on a dead end road that is amazingly quiet considering it’s just two blocks from a main arterial (Harbor Ave.). The on-foot approach from the carport is not for the faint of heart. The first part of the climb is uneven stones and tree roots. Then you get to the concrete pad and more steep stairs. The cabin itself is very rustic and true to its name, it has a slight lean to it.
Don’t plan on doing any major cooking or baking, as the kitchen contains a small fridge, toaster oven, hot plate, and microwave oven.
The shower was an adventure. It’s a bit of a makeshift shower in a claw foot tub.
I took off one star because some of the lights didn’t work, the shower was a little wonky, and I couldn’t get a wifi signal at all, even when I was sitting next to the router.
On the plus side, the cabin is nestled in a beautiful, quiet wood and if you’re looking for a peaceful rustic escape, this is it.
A bit disappointed
We thought this was a unique property in an amazing location - and everything we expected. But we did think the sofa bed linen ought to have been newer and guests should be warned about dog bed (?) under bed (we are allergic).
Truly Unique Stay
What a happy find. A super location - easy to downtown but you have lots of privacy and experience the Seattle wilderness vibe. We had a little trouble finding our way and host Michael talked us through it.
Excellent location. Great for recreatin. Awesome views of the city.
Overall good experience.
