Private 2 bedroom, 2 bath Gatlinburg cabin in the Arts and Crafts Community
Harold and Joyce Bernard
About Harold and Joyce Bernard
We, the Bernards, recently purchased Fox's Den because our daughter now lives in Gatlinburg, and we wanted a place near her family that we could rent out as well. We are retired and live in southwest Virginia. Our daughter, Cyndi, will be handling most of the communication. She is happy to answer any questions you have, and would love to recommend her family's favorite restaurants, things to do and hiking trails!
Harold and Joyce Bernard purchased this Cabin in 2018
Why Harold and Joyce Bernard chose Gatlinburg
Location! This home is in the middle of the Arts and Crafts Community, but convenient to Gatlinburg. The cabin is very comfortable and feels more like a home than a rental cabin.
What makes this Cabin unique
Again, the location attracted us to Fox's Den. We love sitting on the covered deck enjoying the mountain air, or walking around the neighborhood and strolling down to the nearby craft shops and cafes.

Thanksgiving Weekend Getaway
We had a great stay for Thanksgiving Weekend. I wouldn't necessarily call it private, it's sort of in a neighborhood with 4 houses pretty close. It was perfectly fine for us and it was very quiet. Everything we needed was there. Plenty of towels and blankets and the towels were very nice, not your old cabin hand me downs. The cabin itself was very nice, and very clean. The kitchen had everything you could need and I was impressed by the quality of the cooking supplies provided, pots and pans, every sort of baking sheet/pan, bowls, silverware etc. None of it was random, garage sale sort of mix/match. All very nice. Both sorts of coffeemakers provided, a pot and a Keurig. We used the washer/dryer which is a big plus for us and I love going home with clean clothes. The hot tub cover is sort of hard to manage and the water was sort of smelly, I think it was actually the cover maybe. Overall it was AWESOME and we would stay again if we're down that way. The cleanliness was the biggest thing for me and it was so clean. Also, the night we got there we couldn't get the fireplace to come on and I texted the owner, the housekeeper came right over and got it going. Wonderful communication the whole way through. This was a great find.
Everything was very clean and well stocked. We had a great time!
Excellent, Restful, Quiet Cabin
Located just outside the hustle and bustle but close enough to choose your fun times. Very quiet, light traffic. Local flavor close without going into town. Owners were very helpful with tips and tricks to enjoy our time.
Nice & Quiet
The rental went smoothly. I did it online & the manager was always available to take care of anything we needed. We highly recommend this cabin, and would come back
No r cabin, clean, well equipped. Location not exactly what was advertised. Not enough privacy .
Enjoyed cabin. Clean and well equipped. Short on privacy due to two residential homes near by. Dogs barking through the nights.
I apologize that you did not feel the cabin had the privacy that you were looking for. The neighbors are usually very quiet and rarely outside. If the dogs were barking, that means the neighborhood bear was moving through. I wish you could have seen him...he is beautiful!
