good but fell short
We have stayed in this community before. We love the location and the layout. The only issue we had with this unit was the understocked kitchen. It’s nothing major but we do cook a lot while at the beach. We had to purchase some things that we normally find in the other units in this area. All in all a good stay. Just need the kitchen tweaked a little.

One thing after another with this house!! Roaches, Broken Table and Bed, Trash, AirConditions!
To many problems not to warn folks/vacationers to BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. Pros-The house is just as the pictures, in a nice neighborhood and quite. It is a lovely house if it had someone to take care of it!!
Cons-We were to check in at 4 on Saturday July 13th, 2019. I got a call at 3:32 stating that housekeeping was running behind and couldn't check in for another 1hr to 1-1/2 and we already had our cold food bought and on the way. We got to check in at 5:15. I ask for a later check out since we couldn't get in on time but they wouldn't here of that! We were bringing groceries in and I put a pack of water on the dining glass table and it fell! I was trying to hold the glass from falling on my 5yr old grand daughter and holding other stuff. We went up to get unpacked and the bed in the second bedroom had a broken slab hanging in the floor. The laundry room and washer was nasty. The second bathroom shower was clogged and shower water backed up on you. There was trash packed out side the carport. I took pictures and sent them to customer service and called and told them what happened. They said they would call the home owner. I ask about all the stinking garbage out side which I couldn't stand the smell any longer and cleaned all of it up and moved the trash cans out to the road to the pick up place.
They had the maintenance to come out on Sunday to fix the bed and they brought in a nasty picnic table from the balcony said that they had just fixed it before the last renters came they must had broke it and threw the other leg away. Tuesday night we went out and it was last when we got back and when we turned on the kitchen lights ROACHES WAS EVERYWHERE! LIKE THEY WERE COMING OUT OF THE FLOOR! On the counters and walls. I sent my kids out for roach killer, took pictures of the dead ones we killed and sent them to customer service again. Wednesday we came up from the beach at 4 and the upstairs air quit working and it was 84 in the house. Called customer service and sent pics of the blank thermostat. They sent a AC vendor out to fix it. Friday came back up from the beach at 4:30 and it was down again. Called CS again and they wouldn't answer, left message never heard back Then I texted them and they sent the AC vendor back out. I ask about all the trouble that we have had with this mess of a place and they apologized and said they will let the home owners know about the cleaning service. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOUSE until they make some changes!

We appreciate you reporting the table and bed to us and allowing us to come out the following day to fix the bed, bring you a brand new dining table, and move the outdoor table that we had moved to temporarily hold you over while the table was being purchased. We deeply apologize for the pests and have had pest control visit the home since your stay. We absolutely would have sent them out during your stay had the bugs been reported to us. And finally, please allow us to apologize for the AC issues you experienced. Unfortunately, issues with ACs are unpredictable but we are so happy we were able to get everything up and running within a few hours of you reporting them to us. We certainly hope to see you again in the future.

This place was perfect for my family. It was at the end of a gravel/sand road which made it peaceful but yet we were still just less than a minute drive or five minute walk to the beach. Every room was very spacious. The pool was refreshing and always open. Definitely going back!

We had a wonderful experience. The property is well kept and is exactly what you see in the pictures. We had an extremely minor issue with the door code but it was quickly resolved. We had another minor issue with outlets in the kitchen but, again, the matter was promptly and efficiently handled. This house could do with a little, actually a little more than a little, TLC on the outside. A good pressure washing would be a huge help. The balconies were almost perfect but again a little TLC. The 3rd floor balcony could really do with some love. The ceiling is covered in “dobber” nests and looks spooky at night. The common area was clean and nicely kept. The pool was convenient and clean. It is conveniently located near Panama City Beach and in the beach town of Seagrove. I would definitely return to 108 Mar-a-largo.

Very dissatisfied - DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE COCKROACES!!!
Upon check in we noticed the master bedroom headboard was broke and the master bedroom shower was broke, both of these were fixed by the maintenance guy two days after we checked in, however it was an inconvenience to us as we had to wait for him to get there and while he fixed these broken items. We checked in on a Saturday, the tv in the living room was broke, and wasn't fixed until Wednesday afternoon at 5:00. We seen several cockroaches in the kitchen sink and running on the kitchen counters and on the first set of stairs, I took pictures if you would like to see those, as I did send those via text message to guest services with no reply. We actually checked out early due to this. I had to spray everything down with Lysol as it felt very dirty. I washed all the silverware and silverware tray as there was food crumbs in the drawer and seen cockroaches on the silverware. Not to mention, we had to wash all plates, cups, pans, etc. before using them. There was also some sort of substance which appeared to be coffee grounds in the bottom cabinet, obviously this place is not cleaned well. The living room furniture was dirty and stained (I also have pictures) and the dining room chair cushions were also dirty and stained. I did not sit on the couch or love seat as it felt very dirty. The bottom level floor was dirty and looked like it had not been mopped or swept. There is a can of bed bug spray above the washing machine which made it hard to sleep thinking there's bed bugs there. The smell on the first floor is horrendous, smells like dirty feet. The overall stay was awful, we absolutely will NOT EVER STAY HERE AGAIN and do not recommend anyone else to do so. Very unhappy.

The shower and living room TV both required scheduling outside vendors and we do understand the inconvenience that this caused. This is the first report of bugs we have heard and we will certainly look into having the home sprayed. We can assure you without any doubt at all that this home does not have and has not had bed bugs. We have addressed the housekeeping team responsible for the home and would have loved the opportunity to come and address your housekeeping concerns. Again, we do apologize for the issues you experienced and hope you will give us a chance to show you a stay that meets the true Southern standard in the future.
