Enjoyed my stay, host was quick to respond to questions and helpful with motorbike storage. Good location close to beach but bars and restaurants are short uber rather than walkable. Only criticism is there are some areas of furniture that could do with upgrading but house was very clean and had everything we needed.

With a Walk Score of 94/100 ("Walker's Paradise"), and some of the best restaurants and bars in Long Beach 500 feet away, you may have mistaken this for another listing. Also we confirmed today that all furniture is in great shape, of good quality, recently updated, and exactly as pictured.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the property did not meet expectations. The space was not as clean as advertised upon arrival, which made the stay less comfortable. I hope the host improves the cleaning standards for future guests.

False review. Guest wanted to host a party of 15 persons which would violate city code, and when denied, she fabricated issues and fraudulently obtained a refund. VRBO acknowledged this error to me, flagged the guest, and compensated me. I have a zero tolerance policy for parties or law breakers. An occasional false review will not dissuade me from standing on principle, protecting my neighbors, and obeying the law. We have the highest cleaning standards, and the vast majority of reviews speak for themselves.

Sweet Craftsman Home & Wonderful Vaca

This lovely property has all the amenities as advertised. It is clean and so much natural light streaming though windows. Our family enjoyed our comfortable beds, kitchen, backyard, and ESPECIALLY the fooseball table! It's location can't be beat! Thank you!! :)

Perfect home in central Long Beach location

We visited from Seattle for the New Year and Rose Bowl in Pasadena but opted to stay in Long Beach to be close to family and enjoy the waterfront. We were able to walk to shoreline village where we took a sunset harbor cruise, visited the aquarium and listened to live music along the way. We were able to run to the beach each morning for our workout. The house is clean, safe feeling and close to the freeway for easy outings. Having a washer and dryer in house made it easy for us to pack light. The kitchen was stocked well and allowed us to order in from several of the delicious local restaurants. The neighborhood has a friendly outdoorsy vibe. Communication before, during and after our stay was easy, making our trip stress free and enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great house. Great location!

This house was very clean and set up so you can enjoy your time. It’s location is great ! We had a rental ca but we just walked everywhere because of the location. The host was amazing at keeping in contact. This is a wonderful place to stay and I hope it’s available on our next adventure to the Long Beach grand prix

Great Place!

Stayed here for 4 nights for a music fest. The house was very clean and as described. Communication with Dan was great - he sent emails regarding all steps of process and asked to reach out if needed, which we never needed to as everything was communicated well. It was walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and attractions. The only negative (this has nothing to do do with the actual property) was walking from the main restaurants/shops/beach at night was a little sketchy - I wouldn't have felt comfortable with my wife walking alone in the area. There are two gas stations on the main road that are pretty close and they always had many homeless people lingering around. Two of the nights we saw police at the gas stations due belligerent behavior.
