About Brenda Sansom
Owner: Brenda Sansom has lived in Lake Quinault since 1975, graduated from Lake Quinault High School and raised a family of three daughters who also all graduated from Lake Quinault High School. Our love for this wonderful place generated from generations of both sides of the family who also lived, schooled and raised families here. With our love for nature, the great outdoors and wildlife, Lake Quinault fulfills all our activity and tranquility of our relaxation needs. Our greatest joy is to be fortunate enough to share this spectacular vacation area with people from all over the world by providing accommodations for travelers to this amazing area.
Brenda Sansom purchased this House in 1996
Why Brenda Sansom chose Amanda Park
Cottage Peaks is located in the Olympic National Park and a beautiful temperate rainforest with recorded world largest trees, fern beds and dripping moss as well as aboundance of wildlife. For such a beautiful place there are a minimum of accomodations for the amount of visitor in this area. I wanted to be able to offer a comfortable , clean place for people to stay and have a chance to really enjoy our area.

Great experience with the property and Brenda. Answered all our questions quickly and was able accommodate us with a late check out. Will definitely be coming back!
Three generations of our family enjoyed 4 days at this home on Lake Quinault. We found everything we needed for family meals and cozy nights. There is lots of room for everyone to have space for indoor activities. We spent 2 days in Olympic National Park which is very accessible from the house. An extra bonus was a full rainbow over the lake one afternoon.
Cozy Luxury Cabin
From comfy beds to a sparkling kitchen, it was a lovely vacation spot. The lake views are spectacular and the property stunning. We all loved jumping off the dock into the lake, plus kayaking and just absorbing the beautiful scenes. Lake Quinault is still a pristine wilderness.
Truly beautiful area.
This was an awesome property and we had a wonderful time. I feel like it was a little farther from the other property we rented (73682) than I expected, but it was still walkable. The other property was more conducive to all of us gathering together, most likely because a lot of us really enjoyed the pool table there! Was a very good combination to house our family reunion.
9 college friends spent a night here while touring Olympic National Park. Very spacious, well-equipped, organized, clean house on Lake Quinault. We had a wonderful time including watching a beautiful sunrise over the lake and relaxing with morning coffee on the deck. Wish we could have stayed longer!
