My 2 month holiday
The location of this property is fabulous the design to die for..
The downsides are many if you are staying more than 2 days. It is NOT equipped for every day living. NO can opener!!! Wal Mart became my friend...The TV is a total nightmare!!! Sparely furnished. 3 bar stools for 4 people. No table and chairs. Extremely dangerous stairs especially at night...no sound proofing between the 2 lofts!!
The owner is not experienced and the response was not great!!!
I have to preface this response by stating that this was definitely by far the strangest experience I’ve had yet with renting out either of my properties. Let me also say that both units are very new and very clean. The TVs are smart TVs and have access to Netflix, Amazon, hbo and just about any channel you want. If you are used to basic cable then there can be a bit of a learning curve but most folks don’t come here to watch tv for a weekend. Julie inquired with me about doing a month long rental back in December. We negotiated a longer term price which was extremely extremely fair given that it was our “off-season”. She also asked if she could come in 3 weeks prior to her check-in. There was nobody scheduled in the unit so being accommodating I said it wasn’t a problem. Even gave her the same rate. When she arrived she was very friendly and any issues with the tv either myself, the tenant next door, or the girls next door tried to help. There were never any issues until the evening of February 11 when Julie asked if she could stay 2 more weeks until March 14th. I replied that it was available and that it wouldn’t be a problem. Julie asked how much and I told her the rate would be higher than in January and February since Spring is when things pick up here. What followed was the most bizarre text rant I’ve ever seen. She said “you should approach this better or you’ll be sorry”. That “you have no idea what will happen”, “your a kid” and after rants about a toaster, can opener, and a wine opener which there is a wine opener in there she left off by saying “I will give a bad review and no one will rent this place”. So after that I decided it was best that we just let Julie be until she checked out. I would caution anyone to renting to Julie.
Clean, comfortable, and perfect location. I would highly recommend anyone staying in downtown Bluffton to check this rental out. We very much enjoyed ourselves.
Nice newly renovated space, blocks from cute town
Nice place that is really new to market. Was just what we needed for a short stay in the area.
New, central and very cute!!
We loved the central location to old town Bluffton (we used to live there). The place is clean, rustic modern and brand new! The balcony was very nice as well. I would give this property 5 stars, but had to take one away as the mattress is very very very firm. I had trouble sleeping it was so hard. It needs a topper.
Some suggestions: There is a local bike shop you can rent bikes. You must check out Pour Richard’s, a local spot. They don’t advertise, but it’s the best food around! Surf and turf pizza (shrimp and filet) not on the menu is a must and don’t forget the desserts. Bluffton room is always great, the farm (grass fed burger is amazing), and twisted bake shop are a must!
This is a brand new vrbo, we were the first guests! Wasn't completely furnished yet, but its on the way! And we had everything we needed; couch, bed and rockers on the front porch! Beautifully done, lovely amenities, we will definitely stay here again when we visit family. Super location too! Walked to everything and plenty of on-site parking.
Very Convenient location!
Great location, beautiful building! Could use just a bit more furniture!
