Why Julie Burnette chose Candler
This home belonged to our Grandparents Frank and Texie O'Kelley. It has been in our family for over 100 years. We wanted to be able to share it and let others enjoy a little bit of history.

Best cabin ever!
This is our third stay at the farmhouse. It’s a beautiful piece of property with tons of space for our kids to run around. The antiques and Christmas decorations make the cabin so inviting and cozy. Julie and her family are excellent hosts. This place is a hidden gem. We look forward to our next stay!
Very enjoyable. Good location for hiking and shirt drive to Blue Ridge Pkwy. The house is full of charm. We loved the tree swing, horses and especially the front porch! We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway to the mountains.
Renting online was good.
It’s a true old house. It’s clean somewhat. It needs automatic air freshener going cause it has a smell. The couch and chairs need a good cleaning it smells like Body odor.
I am sorry. A little less stuff would be so good. Like in the yard and pouch.
But thank you for the stay. God Bless.
Home away from home
Quaint and cozy, private, yet close to everything.
Enjoyed our stay. Would be a great choice for parents with kids there's so much to explore in the yard and grounds.
Four of us gals gathered together from 3 states to talk and gab and celebrate our 40th class reunion! We sat on the rocking chairs and talk for hours! It was just what we imagined! The only thing I would change would be a better mattress on the day bed! Other than that, it was a perfect, delightful place to stay!
Thanks so much!
We are at the base of the Blue Ridge Parkway. 15 - 20 minutes to Sliding Rock, Looking Glass Falls, Cradle of Forestry and many other inviting attractions located on the Parkway. Also, we are about 20 minutes to the Biltmore Estate, or downtown Asheville.
