In keeping with our eco-consciousness, the piping hot water in both bathrooms is heated by the sun with our solar hot water system. Both bedrooms rooms are well appointed with fine linens, pillows and comfortable beds.

The homes ideal position on a ridge allows the cool breezes to flow through the house both day and night. Boundaries between indoors and outdoors blend when sliding walls open to a large patio with ocean and jungle views. Polished concrete floors keep the house cool, even in the heat of the day.

This home enjoys the benefits of secure private parking and 24 hour security in a locked, gated community. Cleaning service is included on stays 6 days or longer and pool service is included, laundry machines in home for small additional fee.

This house is perfect for honeymooners, families of four, one or two couples looking for a get away in one of the worlds most beautiful locations, San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. Monkeys visit, sloths laze and at the right time of year and with a little bit of luck, humpback whales can be seen from the house as they are arriving in the warm waters of the Nicaraguan Pacific to nurse their young.

A four wheel drive high clearance vehicle is required for accessing not only Casa Colina, but the majority of the beaches north and south of San Juan del Sur. We are located 12km from town on country dirt roads, and as the Balcones community is perched on a hill from the main road a 4WD vehicle will make your stay much more enjoyable!
