Relaxing get away
Delightful place to stay! We arrived late the first night and were not quite prepared for the twists and turns required to get to this rural setting. This drive became quaint and part of what we liked after that first night. Recommend arriving before dark! Local town is delightful.
Very nice cottage
Clean, pretty and peaceful cottage.
Lovely place, and in what we’ve concluded is our favorite part of Maui for lodging
Nearly invisible checkin. We showed up, a note by the door welcomed us, there was nice fruit in a basket and fine coffee-making supply, gorgeous setting. Easy come-and-go. Quiet, secure.
Great Spa Experience and Nice Cottage
We planned an anniversary getaway When we were visiting that was close to my daughters home in Haiku. Location is lovely but know that it is kinda out there with regards to distance from beach, stores and eateries. Super quiet and serene and the cottage was exactly as stated and super clean and well appointed. The Lomi Lomi couples massage experience was like none other. Loved choosing the natural fragrances used during massage. We will be back!!!!
Wonderful cottage away from all the touristy things;)
We stayed in the cottage for a week and it was overall beautiful. They really looked after us and we got a basket o fresh fruits as a welcome and a refill after a few days;) the chickens were running around and right next to the cottage we could observe a few other animals. It was really cool. We enjoyed the remote location really much but of course you need a car (for me its quite special if you really have to relay on a car for everything).
I recommend the cottage to anybody who really enjoyes a bit of solitude.
If you’re willing to deal with ambiguity it’s a wonderful location and the amenities provided were adequate. But, It’s obvious that running a B&B is not their main business.
It is a great location for hikes and exploring the foothills of Haleakala and the culture of Makawao.
Located Close to Makawao Forest Reserve, Pi'iholo Ranch and Pi'iholo Zipline.
