About George Amos
George & Donna Amos, former teachers, now Realtors, have lived in Santa Fe for 40 years and enjoy welcoming people to their guest house from all over the world. We gladly provide suggestions for enjoying the mountains, mesas, opera, concerts, shopping, distinctive restaurants, museums, historic places, Anasazi ruins, pueblo ceremonies, skiing, hikes, and trips to little-known places in Northern New Mexico. George was Chairman of the English Department at Louisiana College from 1970 to 1978. He also taught at Louisiana Tech and Arkansas Central University. He was Realtor of the Year in Santa Fe in 1998. Fantastic views, cozy and close to great trails. Fully furnished casita with private courtyard and small fenced yard, perfect for those who travel with their pets.
Darlene was a perfect guest and even made the place nice when she left.
Lovely setting outside down town Santa Fe
Very comfortable and well equipped home in the adobe style made this a very unique and special Southwestern winter stay experience. Great central location with easy access to downtown Santa Fe as well as surrounding areas of interest to the north and south. Hilly terrain makes 4-wheel drive essential under snow and icy road conditions.
Very Nice Home
This home was very nice and comfortable. We really enjoyed the fire place, and the fact that there was plenty of wood cut and ready to burn. Out in the country side with a great view of the mountains, but only 15 minutes to the square. Really enjoyed our stay. Would love to come back again.
Great property in Santa Fe
We loved that the property is within a 15 min drive to downtown Santa Fe but away enough to be tranquil and be able to see the pretty stars at night. We had some issues after checking in with the place not being completely ready for us but Donna was very responsive and ensured that things were taken care of and made up for our inconveniences.
It is old & multiple items need repair or replacement. Worse thing was we were not informed we needed 4 WD.
The guest house is not meant to be modern. We always strive to
Present a comfortable place where guests can feel at home in a quiet setting. So sorry you were
Unhappy with our home. And we
Do apologize for failure to inform
You about a 4?wheel drive. The
Surprise snow was a setback for
