Rest asure that all reviews are correct when they tell you this place needs a make over! All living room furniture needs to be replace!! Kitchen has the just enough to get by. Will have to wash towels before our 3 day stay is over. As for as the building goes the walls are paper thin. I can hear people walking and them opening doors. Just pay the extra money and get something nicer than this place
While we appreciate guest feedback and take all comments seriously, we always want to set the record straight. This guest called in to our office the day after arrival to inquire about wireless internet in the unit. The guest was told that there was not wireless internet in the unit but there was free wireless internet in the Edgies Market on site, as noted in the unit description. The guest let us know that she was unhappy with the living room furniture. Our reservationists offered to have someone come to the unit to look at the furniture, but the guest declined. The guest made no other comments about the unit or the resort while they were here. This unit is rented heavily throughout the summer and the furniture does show wear and tear. This will be addressed by the owner in the off season. .
Needs a new cleaner
I followed the previous review from Brandi and was concerned because I was going into that unit after her family. I actually called best beach getaways and expressed my concerns. I was assured that her complaints had been handled before my arrival. This unit has so much potential. It could really be a tremendous unit. Several of the blinds were broken and stored in a closet. The bedroom where one blind was broken allowed others to look into the bedroom from the passageway. My major concern was about the person/ company that is used to clean the unit. It was NOT clean. The person that cleans the unit needs to find a new line of work because they are terrible at cleaning. The furniture was so full of sand, I had to cover with sheets. There was dead bugs in the light fixtures in the kitchen and a large black moldy looking blob of something as well in the lights. The resort is a nice place, just put some new furniture in it and get a new cleaning service. The furniture is beyond worn out.

This unit is awful! I'd give it no stars, if possible. I do not recommend staying here. The pictures in the listing must be very old, because the furniture is all worn (as in foam showing through torn fabric), springs collapsed and full of cigarette burn holes. Not to mention, wasn't cleaned properly. Even after complaining, management company had the unit re-cleaned and surfaces were still sticky, furniture covered in sand and food from previous renters left in cabinets. I couldn't tell you when the last time the place was dusted and they even looked under beds or behind dressers for trash. Onto the bedrooms...dresser drawers were full of dirt (black dirt, not sand), there were no mattress pads on beds (was told they were being dry cleaned, there were no extras and they would be put on beds Monday. They were brought to room Tuesday for me to put on myself.). One bedroom had missing verticle blinds so everyone walking down the main hallway (which unit is located right next to elevator) could see right in. After being promised by maintenance and property manager that blinds would be fixed, we gave up and placed a towel over the window for a little bit of privacy, but not much. They were never fixed. If it happens to rain while you're here, be prepared the large window overlooking the water will leak. Then you will look for it and see the rotted window frame as well as the black mold growing all over. After management company and maintenance pointed the finger to Edgewater Homeowners association, they came and "scraped" the mold off. Thank you for spreading mold spores throughout the unit while my 2 young children are staying here. I sincerely hope they don't develop any illness from it. The air conditioner will wake you up when it kicks on as well, it's so loud. Oh and the ad mentions wifi...nope. None available. Really? After my complaints, I was brushed off and told "the owner knows of the issues, but won't take care of them". They begrudgingly refunded my cleaning fee, couldn't move me to another unit because nothing was available, but seriously feel I should be refunded for my stay. You need to update your pictures with the true likeness of the unit and not misrepresent and provide false advertising as to the horrible condition of this condo. You need to have the window fixed and sealed correctly and the mold remediation done properly.
This Guest called upon her arrival and asked that the floors be recleaned. We sent an inspector over immediately to reclean the floor. She also asked that the sheets be changed OR mattress pads be put on the beds. The inspector changed all of the sheets per the guest request.
The guest then called back and asked for mattress pads on Tuesday, which were delivered to the unit.
No other cleanliness issues were reported by the guest during their stay. If they had we would have addressed them immediately.
The guest did let us know after it rained that the window leaked and there was mold growing. One of our Maintenance team went out and found that the exterior of the building has a crack and that was causing rain to be let into the unit. He found mildew growing in the window sill, but nowhere else in the unit. At her request, he did scrape the plaster down to the concrete, to remove the mold. He then informed her that we would get with the Association about repairing the exterior leak, as is their responsibility. We informed the guest that we had let the association and the owner of the condo know of the exterior leak.
The owner has since requested service from the condo association.
There were 3 vertical blind slats that had fallen down during her stay and our maintenance man went by and rehung them.
In short, we responded to any issue that the guest had quickly in order to ensure that the guest was not further inconvenienced.
