Do you enjoy your own private and sunny space in a self contained studio with its own kitchen, bathroom and laundry?

I like to welcome you to Lavender Studio. The studio has a relaxing outlook with fruit trees, the saltwater pool and a spacious yard, shared with wee Maddie the dog.

The studio provides:
*Full kitchen facilities with full sized stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, kitchen sink, pots &pans, utensils, crockery and cutlery.
*The bathroom has a heated towel rail.
*The laundry has a washing machine, airing rack, vacuum cleaner, cleaning products and there is an outdoor clothes line.
*The bedroom/lounge has a TV.
*Free WiFi.

The location at the Richmond foothills makes a perfect base for enjoying the local mountain biking.
You are about 1 km walking distance to the Richmond Mall and Queen Street shops.
Only 300 meters to the local dairy/pub and fish/chips shop.

Tahuna beach is a 12 minute drive and Rabbit Island 15 minutes. Enjoy a beautiful scenic drive to famous Kaiterteri beach at the beginning of the Abel Tasman National Park where all sorts of activities await from Kayaking, Scenic boat trips and the Kaiterteri Mountain Bike Park.
If you desire to go and explore Golden Bay it is a 1.5 hour drive to Takaka.

Great little Bach
A very nice Bach. Each morning woke up to the guests beautiful yard. The location was very convenient to our holiday plans, golfing, wineries and site seeing. We unfortunately could not hook up to the wifi. The saltwater pool was a plus and appreciate the host sharing her property with us.

Our Visit with Daphna
We are a couple from Canada in our 60's, Daphna's place was perfect for us. We loved the beautiful and private outdoor space, our visits from Maddie the family dog, the chance to catch up on our laundry and hang it outside, the convenience of the kitchen and the cleanliness. We quickly felt at home. We love the opportunity to cook our own meals, when we travel and Daphna's place more than met our needs. Daphna made us feel like old friends, she was an excellent host. Richmond is a very convenient location, 2 hours to the Picton Ferry if you take the scenic Queen Charlotte Drive, the tip of Abel Tasman is a day trip, but very doable, Kaiteriteri Beach is an easy drive to beach walk, kayak or take a shuttle boat up the coast of Abel Tasman. The lovely city of Nelson is only 20 minutes north. Daphna's place is an excellent home base as well as a wonderful location to just take a break from travel and sightseeing.

The perfect place
The place is well located for lots of activities, whether going to Abel Tasman Park, one of the many beautiful beaches nearby or in the beautiful town of Nelson. There is everything we need to have a great stay and the host Daphna is very welcoming and very kind. We highly recommend it
