Memories for a lifetime
My parents, siblings, their spouses, and my niece all flew in from the Midwest and East Coast for this Sonoma escape for the holidays. It was an absolutely beautiful experience because of this gorgeous home. The lovely scenery, the privacy of the property, the themed decor, the room for the children, and the spacious kitchen made for a wonderful time. We were able to explore the massive property outside, while catching up on life in the grandiose dining room. Just as a heads up, the home is on top of a large hill, so driving from the main road in town to the top took us about 15-20 minutes In our SUVs. The time we spent at the home was truly magical and we would certainly rent the property again in the future.
Gorgeous views in Alexander Valley
I hosted five couples, clients, for three nights at the Palladian Villa. Everyone had a fantastic experience. The best feature of this expansive home is that all six bedrooms have their own bathrooms. This is a luxury everyone obviously enjoyed. The next best feature is the kitchen, which had everything you could possibly imagine for cooking. Despite the wonderful restaurants available in Healdsburg, we ended up doing most of our dining at the house. There's a terrific grocery "Big John's" in Headlsburg with an incredible assortment of pre-cooked entrees. Each night we ended up just picking all sorts of food and snacks from the grocery and heating it back up at the house among other things we cooked up. So much more fun than trying to find room for 12 people to eat. We had one event to do at the Jordan vineyard, which is very close, but other than that everyone was preferred to just hanging out at this lovely home. There are several spots to gather. The living room has plenty of room for everyone to sit around the fire and chat. Just off the kitchen, there's a comfortable sitting area where the dice games ended up being held. Also just off the kitchen, is a very large breakfast table where some heated card games took place. This room also has a lovely fireplace. So, basically, there was room for everyone to comfortably do what they liked. Although we didn't spend much time outdoors due to rain, the manicured yard is wonderful, with even more room for friends to congregate. Beyond that, all the bedrooms were very comfortable, and we never ran out of hot water, which could be an issue with 12 people, but not here. I believe it's a 100-gallon water tank. The views are impossible to describe, but they were simply wonderful. And for anyone who would like to bring kids, they have a neat room upstairs with 5 single beds and a big TV that would be super fun for kids to hang out together.
We'll be back!
An amazing house in a beautiful setting.
The long, gravel road up the hill is the perfect way to let you know that you're in for something out of the ordinary. And getting to the house is SO worth it. Beautiful, spacious, really well thought out, plenty of room for our large family group, with grounds and a country setting that immediately helps you feel peaceful and serene. The house had everything we could have thought of to make us feel comfortable and pampered. Highly recommended for family gatherings and reunions, and for an out-of-the-ordinary experience.
Fun in the sun
We had a great family visit and wine country visit. The grandchildren loved the pool as did the adults. The house had a great kitchen with everything you needed. The family layed on their backs at night to see the stars. Beautiful valley views and Guernville had everything you would need. Wineries close by...
Perfect Luxurious Wine Country Get Away
Fantastic property just off the beaten path....the pool & the view were breath-talking! Highly-recommended.
These guests communicated extremely well before their trip so as to make the most of the house and understand how it works. They left it in beautiful condition as though it was their own. Thanks!!
I would welcome them back anytime.
Wonderful Wine County Get Away
We had a wonderful stay at Sharon's property in Geyserville. The property was spectacular, very secluded, and had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing break. We had 6 couples stay over a long weekend to celebrate a 40th birthday and the house had more than enough room to have our own space. All of the bathrooms were very nice and made it very easy that nobody had to share. The drive up to the house is mostly dirt roads and it takes a little whle to get to house but its very pretty and is well worth the trip. The pool set up is very nice with a beautiful view. Communication with Sharon was extremely easy and she had us all set up for a wonderful trip. We would definately stay again.
The perfect getaway for those who want to relax and enjoy the quiet of the country away from the hustle & bustle. Located up a meandering four mile country road, high on a hill outside of the quaint town of Geyserville, above the Alexander Valley, location of many wineries, the well known family restaurant Catelli's, a fantastic pizza restaurant Diavola, others Dry Creek ( Charlie Trotter), Barndiva to name a few in Healdsburg. The house is a 25 minutes drive to the town of Healdsburg.
