Private Trail to the Beach - 1 Bedroom

This was absolutely PERFECT! Clean, gorgeous, private, quiet... everything I needed was there (which was unexpected) from a toothbrush to washer and dryer. Excellent DVD selection though I just sat and stared at the ocean the whole time — sitting on the deck and in the hot tub is magical, I could even see it from the living room and hear it at night while sleeping in the huge, soft and cozy bed.

I liked it so much I stayed an extra night. I will definitely go back and I rate this at a solid 100%. Thank you Ken for making paradise possible!

WOW! This place was a great getaway stay and had everything that was listed. The location is so nice. You are not that far from the town of Brookings, but far enough in the country that it is quiet and peaceful. The cottage is close to the other home on the property, but you have large bushes and plants that separate the two. You feel like you are in your own private beach cottage. It was very quiet there and I could hear the ocean waves from the living room. The cottage was very clean, and I loved all of the thoughtful amenities. Nice flat screen TV, satellite TV to watch and a large collection of DVDs to watch as well. Perfect sized kitchen for preparing meals and saving money from eating out all the time. The bed was very clean, nicely appointed and comfortable with many pillows and extra blankets. I could hear the ocean waves as I slept! The bathroom was very clean and had everything you could need. The hot tub was very clean as well and I enjoyed sitting in it and watching the waves roll in. The trail to the beach was perfect, and the tide pooling in the evening was great! I will definitely be back to stay here again, and am so glad I decided to give this cottage a try!

I rented this home for my parents. The website was having major issues when I tried to reserve it. The owner went out of his way to contact me and assure me that it wasn’t my fault and that my reservation was held. He offered many options to finish reserving the property if the online system didn’t go through.

Within minutes of arriving my dad text me telling me it was an “AWESOME PLACE”. The house was cute and clean. My parents don’t do “technology” well so they needed assistance with the remote controls. Owners were there right away to help. The beach was so close, they loved it. My parents were very pleased with the home and the owners. They are already planning a return trip in the spring.
