About Chuck White
Hi! My name is Chuck White and I have visited and lived at Lake Tahoe for over 40 years. I spent 30 years as a volunteer for the National Ski Patrol and have skied virtually every downhill resort and back country terrain in the Lake Tahoe area. I have hiked, fished and skied over most of the Tahoe Sierra Region. Tell me what you want to do during your visit to Lake Tahoe and let me "be your guide". I am a registered professional civil engineer and have been working for almost 40 years on environmental issues in California and the west. My wife Carrie and I live in Davis, CA -- most of the time.
Chuck White purchased this Chalet in 1978
Why Chuck White chose Tahoe Paradise
I originally purchased this property when I was living at Lake Tahoe in the late 70's and have maintained it as a second home and a rental property since 1982. Chuck's Tahoe Apache Cabin is ideally located in a quiet subdivision with great winter access and near both Heavenly Valley and Sierra-At-Tahoe Ski areas. Easy access to shopping and a myriad of outdoor activities.

The house and kitchen belongings are a bit worn out, but as the description states, there is just about everything you will need, including sleds for the front yard. The queen beds are very hard with memory foam mattresses. The other adults thought they were comfortable (I don't prefer hard beds). The kids liked the kid's room with lots of games, except the fact that there are no shades on half the windows and the deck lights below shine in brightly all night. The hot tub was nice to have, but low on water so we couldn't run the jets. Overall it was a comfortable place for the 4 adults and 4 kids that were in our group and close to Sierra at Tahoe.
Easy access to everything! Absolutely amazing vacation home to relax and enjoy nature at its finest.
Very homie everything you need. Had a fantastic time
Loved my stay
Chuck was responsive when I needed help with the property. Overall, I would stay again.
Everything that you need
Our stay at Chuck's place was oustanding. His place is cozy and quiet with plenty of activities for kids. Communiction and instructions were excellent. The location was also pefect for our first visit to Lake Tahoe. Highly recommended!
Amazing Cabin with View of Forest
The cabin was perfect for our family and dog. It is in a great location with lots of privacy. There is a huge forest in the backyard. All of the rooms have a unique decor and capture the essence of Tahoe. We would recommend it to our family and friends!
Chuck's Tahoe Apache Cabin is set in a rural mountain setting in Tahoe Paradise and Meyers district southwest of South Lake Tahoe, near the junction of Highways 50 and 89.
