Better than advertised
The house and our stay were lovely. The house is adorable and was perfect for our stay. We were passing through and sadly weren’t able to take in the attractions and sights. We definitely want to come back and explore this charming town. We will come back…hopefully soon.

Just What We Needed
The property was as described and exactly what we needed for our stay while visiting family. The proximity to downtown made it easy to get to an event we had been invited to as well. Beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was set up well for our needs. My husband greatly enjoyed just sitting out on the porch as well. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends who plan on visiting the area.

The rental was clean and pretty. It had everything available as far as household needs. Unfortunately the air conditioning system froze up and it was very hot and uncomfortable the entire time. We had to open the windows and the train isn't far from the house and goes through the town all night using the horn. Between the heat and train we didn't sleep much. I understand these things happen. The home owner did get a repair man and he couldn't fix the problem at the time with the system frozen. I guess my main issue was that we reached out to the home owner and asked if we could be partially reimbursed because of the situation and he never responded back to us. I own property and had something like this happened I would have offered my renters a discount because of the trouble and not put them in an okward position to ask for one. That is not the case with them. It made me sad for them. It's the right thing to do. Also the beds are smaller than our Queen size beds in our guest bedroom. I believe that they are full size. Other than that we would have really enjoyed our stay and used it in the future.

Nice place.
This property worked out great for us. It was a nice change from staying in a hotel. Our granddaughters live in Marceline and they thought it was great having sleepovers with PaPa and Grandma. The house had 3 nice size bedrooms and was very clean. We will definitely stay again.
