Not our first stay here, and definitely not our last
Everything about this property is fantastic: the views are incredible, the solitude is sublime, the proximity to Boulder is convenient, etc. We have stayed here before and love to come back. Brian is also a wonderful host, taking care of everything to make the check-in and check-out easy.
High expectations exceeded.
Perfect in every way.
Private and amazing views
Wonderful, rustic, comfortable with both great privacy and tremendous views. We highly recommend and would happily stay here again.
This is a fantastic property! It is in a wonderfully secluded location that is so quiet, with just the babbling creek and cows mooing. It has an amazing design with gorgeous windows to enjoy a scenic view of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. The porch is fantastic and it is great for watching the sun rise and set, seeing the stars and just relaxing. The only thing to note is that it is a narrow, bumpy dirt road to get to the property from the Burr Trail. If you have a low-to-the ground sedan, vegetation and unevenness on the road may make it a rough (if short) journey. The vegetation is also relatively grown-up on the sides of the road, making for possible scratches on the car.
A Cabin with a View
This is the coziest and most beautifully situated house—the porch has an incredible view of the Monument that makes you never want to leave! Very comfortable. A great base for exploring the area.
Bliss in Canyon Country
Brian's home is absolutely delightful. Directions provided were spot-on, house was very tidy, and the views were ideal. The hardest decision I had daily was where to explore - perfect location to access so much of Escalante Staircase, and what part of the deck to sit on to catch the best views of that moment. I highly recommend a stay here. The only, small wish I had, was that the doors had screens so I could leave them open all night and enjoy the cool breeze. Thank you for sharing your home with me.
