Excellent stay at Paulo was so available and helpful.
It’s all about location
The location is fabulous for seeing the sites in Rome. Paola and Alice (who met us and checked us in) were very nice to work with. It was a bit confusing that Alice’s instructions and the notebook of instructions contradicted on some items, but between both we figured things out. I was so grateful Paola arranged our transportation on our arrival and departure. The few questions we had were responded to.
The apartment is very quiet, which is amazing since Trevi Fountain is steps from the building. Also, the A/C works very well.
We found the apartment adequate. It could definitely use some TLC (tender loving care) and refreshing. There were a few annoyances listed next, but overall we enjoyed our time here and you cannot beat the location.
The sofa that folds into a double bed is very delicate and one cushion collapsed down anytime weight was placed on it, even a backpack. (It happened during our check-in, when I pointed it out it was moved back in place, with the advice of be careful. It didn’t matter how careful we were, the cushion shifted out of place every time.) The lids for the pots and pans had broken knobs barely hanging on to them. There is one Tupperware style container with no lid, and three lids with no containers. Evidently the renter before us left wet towels on the wood floors in the bedroom and there wasn’t time to repair the damage before we arrived. The wood planks were sticking up, so we placed shoes over them so we wouldn’t injure ourselves walking around. As it is an old building, I knew we had to watch our electric consumption or risk tripping the breaker. We were surprised at how easily it happened and we would juggle appliances to prevent it. For example, we needed to turn off the A/C to use the stove while the washer was doing a load of laundry. It took some getting used to but we made it work.
Overall, we had a great experience in Rome due to the location and Paola’s communication. It took a bit of effort to make the other things work in the apartment.
Great place close to everything!
The location of this property couldn’t be better. It fit our needs perfectly. Would definitely stay here again. The owner was great at communicating with us, and arranged car service from airport and back (a great perk). Everything is just a walk away. Rome is a great city to lose yourself wandering the streets and soaking up history.
Dear Ms. Delmont,
Thank you for your kind review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you will book with us in the future. Safe travels.
What a great location! We were able to walk almost anywhere! The Apartment was comfortable & cute
Just the right size flat. Close to everything! Washing machine was very small, but did the job!
Just the right size flat. Close to everything! Washing machine was very small, but did the job! Only downfall (as it is in every lace in Europe, the shower was small (my husband is 6’4” so of course taking a shower is an art over here!) and we ended up buying our own toilet paper (they gave us only 1 roll for the week. Great stay overall!
Visit to Rome.
We had a very pleasant stay in the apartment. Very good location, good size living room and bedroom with all the necessary aplliances. Good space for clothes. Clean room, good bathroom, washer with smooth operation. We notice a lack of TV, and more outlets for connecting the phone, laptop charging. Delivery of the apartment was made very quickly. Luckily we didn't have any problems, because we would not know how to solve it.
The apartment is located in the most convenient and amazing area of the city, surrounded by beautiful churches and historical monuments. The magnificent Colosseum and the unique Forum's stroll, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Piazza del Popolo, Campo de’ Fiori, Trastevere and all of the main sights to visit are within walking distance. Nice outdoor restaurants and bar, delis and groceries are just off the building. Enjoy the most exclusive shopping to the Italian and European fashion boutiques such as Gucci, Prada, Fendi, Cartier. You'll be excited to reach them at a minutes walk.
